I love realism and fully simulated planes ... but in the end for me flight simming is fullfilling the dream of flying, which is all about seeing the beautiful world from the air. Aircraft are just a means to an end for that. That's why no other sim comes even close to what MSFS has to offer. As for your video: I would have expected you to highlight some of the changes, considering the UPDATED" title. 😉 Oh, and your bird is filthy! Time to give it a good wash!😜

Man, you gotta stop. I dont have time for any more planes. As is now I need to spend time in the 414, Vision Jet, H-Jet, Islander, Longitude, FSR500, Tecnam, and a310……and still have to spend time learning the ATR 42/72, MU-2, BAE 146, CRJ 550/700, which Ive spent no time at all in. The only planes getting any seat time in are the fenix a320, pmdg 737, tbm 850, and the Kodiak. So I dont “need” another plane. Lol😂

You definitely gotta fly that ATR. It’s a rather forgiving plane. Took me a while to fly it myself 😂. But once I did, it quickly became my island hopper.

I always thought that the engine instruments were in an awkward place. Wouldn't the pilot normally be focusing on the "six pack?"

What a beautifully modeled aircraft. I'm a 737 guy and fs'er since 85. Running a 7900xt, 64gb amd 6000 ram and clocking the full bit of it. 8tb 990 m.2 in Raid, With the zotac 4090 in a Hyte 60. This sim is humming. I am still very much a GA fan as well and really appreciate when they are well done and my Blackbird C210 is more than I paid for. I hope any who see this and doesn't own it will buy with confidence. @OverKillSimulations well done my friend and appreciate all you do. Coming from an Oklahoman where there is a very early but rich aviation history and community. God bless

Nice video, but I expected to learn about the update, what is new, what got changed and so on. At the end it was a fun flight and that’s it.

What was the aim of the video ? Which benefit do the viewer get ? I think you should think about this before making a video. Either you fly more professional than the viewer can learn how to fly, or you review it or you talk about the text file and explain what changed. cheers

Also stated in the beginning that everything from textures, features, to flight model was changed and were going to fly it and see how it feels. Also commented multiple times throughout the flight on how it felt such as a bit heavier in the yoke, more controlled, and the air forces such as turbulence and how it felt and looked Commented on the sounds and new trim features and how nice the aircraft seemed to operate. But I guess you'd have to watch the video to know that. I said to go to the website if you wanted to see the FULL change log. I also made multiple comparisons to the previous flight I made with aircraft while highlighting my noticeable differences... 😀 my style may not be for everyone and that's OK. On the counter side, I often get criticism for reading off the change log with people saying things like " if we wanted the changes listed we could read it ourselves" So I guess I can't please everyone and that's OK. 🤷

I love this bird too. Concerning the trim wheel ...my arrow did nothing also ...so I had to move to the left of the cockpit for some reason ...giving me a better view of the wheel. Only then would the arrow turn to the "hand icon" & activate the trim wheel??? But it DID work ...that's a plus considering MSFS's record for failure ...lol.

On the Cessna 310R there is a cable link which retracts the steps with the undercarriage.

@@OverkillSimulations Given how slippery the 310 is it adds a lot of drag when deployed. It does blow down (spring I think) in case that the cable snaps though.
