So happy you included Lily of the Valley in your lyrics. I love the metaphor of this flower. It's white, pure, ephemeral because it blooms and wilts very quickly. So pretty. However, its roots are hard to deplete from the ground when it starts to settle and it spreads. Also roots' decoction is highly poisonous in large amount. The pure fragrance of the pollen of the flowers are also dangerous. Basically a beautiful death :)

The song itself is amazing, I listen to it daily. This is a story born from the vibes this song brings me (TRIGGER WARNING!!) (First part) Wilted by darkness > depression Wilted by thirst > lack of love "And then you came, you said I was a piece of art, ect." > The main character find a person who "accept" them as who they are, convincing them that they are beautiful even though they are wilted. This "love" makes the main character feel complete, whole, and they need this person to make them feel like this, because they can't do that alone. And thus that's a beautiful delirium, as the main characters now feels both Wilted and "loved" With the second part, things change a little bit. The main character develops a desperate need of the one who makes them feel whole, while the other one feeds on this need, making them feel "safe" only around them. Telling them the outside world is the one who caused the wilting in first place. Wilted by darkness > the other character won't let the main character get out of their house alone anymore. Wilted by thirst > the main character starts to get beaten and abused. And then you came, you said I was a piece of art, ect. > though the violence recieved, The main character still look for that comfort, and the other one never fails to give it. Reassuring words, sweet gestures, only for giving the beating once again in a never-ending circle. This dynamic makes a new, distorted reality for the main character, who "learn" to love this sickness, longing for the loving kiss after the violence, as a beautiful delirium. As for the ending, I immagine it for the worse. They won't let the main character get out anymore, locking them up in a beautiful room full of wilted flowers and paintings. They still tell them they are beautiful, Just like the things in that room. "you said I looked like a painting", this signs the death of main character -as a corpse they are still, Just like a painting, moving no more-, killed by the other one, madly in love with their wiltedness, fed by the need main character had for them. "quite unusual, quite uncanny", while the main character lies in a pool of blood, as a "beautiful piece of art" within wilted flowers and dark paintings, the other character finds themself insanely in love with the main character's corpse, as a Wilted and "magical" bouquet, for them that's a beautiful delirium. Mental illnesses are dangerous in many ways, if you every feel "wilted", or if you found yourself in a situation with a sick love where abuses happen, please seek for help and stay safe. You are important and you are precious.

It might not have have star power or something super catchy, but this is definitely an improved Blackbriar. Zora shines like always, but she's not carrying the band. The writing is much better and the instrumental progression is cohesive and lovely to listen to. Very good job with this one guys. Only criticism I have is to let individual band members shine besides Zora. You guys have serious talent, and I'd love to see some shredding, drum solos, or even some funky bass riffs. Couple it with Zora's unique sound, and you guys have recipe for magic. Can't wait for more for you guys. Keep it up!
