Blacked out 1000hp 1955 Chevy ProTouring build by MetalWorks Classic Auto Restoration. Supercharged

We just finished up our blacked out, or "murdered out" as some people call it 1955 Chevy ProTouring build at the shop. The TriFive features a 1000hp 427 LS by Wegner Motorsports that runs a 2.9L Whipple supercharger. The 55 sits on a multi-link IRS Art Morrison chassis.
Additional features include: Forgeline RB3C wheels, 14" Wilwood disc brakes, Dakota Digtial RTX gauges, Budnik steering wheel, RICKs EFI gas tank, Lokar shifter, Flowmaster mufflers, etc...the list is long of amazing components.

Cernou -- Schwarz -- Black -- This is probably the first time I've ever seen an automobile two - toned in BOTH gloss and flat (matte or satin) of the SAME color!! INTERESTING; DIFFERENT; UNIQUE!!

I have a 66 caprice, 396,4 speed. needs restored. If I had the money, I know where to go for true professional work. That 55 is a piece of art. Unbelievable!

I love the gloss with matte for contrast. The '56 fuel fill gives it a nice clean look. Everything about this car is just perfection to me. I would love to have something like this one of these days.

An AMAZING build. You know... these are the builds I sit on the edge of my seat for. I've been searching and watching for weeks now and only JUST found these on RU-vid. I LOVE the way you do this, and I wish you did more like this, rather than just the series of pictures from start to finish. You should have hundreds of thousands of followers by now with this content. It would be nice, if you could throw in some explanations... answer the obvious questions.... like WHY do you chop a perfectly good Morrison frame? or what is color build? or seracoating? (I'm guessing that's ceramic coating... good for high temperatures I think.) You know, stuff that jumps out at you when you watch them. EXCELLENT job... hope to see the 63 Buick Riviera completed sometime tho...

WOW! This is my favorite 55 build to date. The only one that's close is Haunted Rod by welderup. The only 1 thing that I don't like is no hood bird. But that's just me. Did I say WOW!?

I've been following this build from the beginning and all I've got to say is ...WOW !!!! The owner isn't going to be disappointed. Very nicely done. One thing ( and this may be a little picky ) I'm seeing that maybe should be addressed before the owner gets delivery of the car. The wiring for the taillight that swings out, @ 2:52. Could it be tucked in a little bit? Seems to be looped out more than I would care to have it if it were mine. Otherwise, this is one very cool build. Too much horsepower? Naa.

Impressive build and craftmanship! Only 2 things I don't like about it. 1 It sits to low for my tastes and black ,on black, on black is boring as hell.
