My boyfriend of three years was half Blackfoot and has unfortunately passed away. I'll admit I'm here trying to grasp on anything that reminds me of him
He Is never gone he will always be with us I am 1/2 blackfoot I know I don't look like it but I try to be here forever one just as much love all of you with all my heart❤
I'm part Blackfoot Indian, Native heritage runs through my family. I'm sorry to hear of the loss of your boyfriend. I don't live on a reservation, I'm from Ohio, and our people are from Montana and Alberta. I love my people, and I though I never personally met him, I am sure he had good spirit, as most of us Natives do. I can assure you his spirit is still very much alive, he is in your heart, and the heart of his family, along with the heart of us, the Niitsitapis. Us Natives love one another, we love our people, and I love your boyfriend. He was one of us. Also a lil off topic but I like your proto sona, im a furry too :)
Bro, I am white as a british man with blue eyes and blonde hair, but I have blackfoot in me from my Grandfather and Great Grandfather. They were Siksika @SingleMaltBuckeye
@IMJayOnly In spirit, they have contacted me many times over. Also, the original Blackfoot is Sudanese\Coptic, and they made their way across from Jerusalem as original Hebrew tribes. I know a little something something about our tribe brother. I happen to hold many secrets told by us. So what is your point exactly? 👉👈
Sorry for your loss. Never forget him. He'll always be there for you... as long as you pray, and ask him to help you, when you need Help. Just remember to explain your problem, and how best that problem is Best Solved... If, you don't know the answers to these Problems, Pray fir Help and Guidance

My mother is around 80% black foot and I am over half. I’ve never really connected with the culture until recently and it’s great to see people still honor the old traditions.

My dad recently passed, he was 1/4 Blackfoot. I was going through pics and found a picture of her holding him which was so precious to me. I would love to share that w other Blackfoot…for some reason I just felt the urge to. If u could let me know how I’d appreciate 🙏
I didnt know i was blackfoot until my mother told me bc i been mistake as white. And i enhoy listening to the music and being able to underatand tk powerful meaning of the music.
This is beautiful ♥ My father always said we are Blackfoot, but we have no affiliation and all records were lost. My younger brother visited the reservation in Montana and helped break horses many years ago. How does one recover lost history and prove a bloodline? I would love for my children to KNOW their ancestry.
@Ragar McKinney lol wise man! I wish I knew my bloodline for certain. I have 4 brothers and am the only girl in my family. I also seem to be the only one who wants to know and learn more!
It's so dang hard to trace your native side because it was all word of mouth. Especially hard if your grandparents ran away & married where white was. One lakota Sioux Oglala & the other Blackfoot...My dad was 1/2 each. I thought I was an even halfbreed. With my mother being European. But turns out the man that raped my Gypsy grandmother may have been Cherokee
My spirit of liberation stands with you in the spirit of those who continue to survive the genocide against our people. May yemaya guide and jah Grace you.
I am sick and tired of anyone with 1/8 or less native in them saying "oh, i have anything from my 1/16 to oh! I 1/100,000th in me!" We all do nowadays, this song is just to honor my great grandmother and my grandfather. Jeez people.
Thank you for the Song my mother was Blackfoot but sadly I was adopted out during the 60's Scoop God has bessed me well if you guys need help in some way please let me know. ✌
So, I remember my family telling me Im part Blackfoot a few years ago. Gotta admit, its kinda weird cause Ive always wanted to live in Montana, and I absolutely love Hunting and Wildlife.
My father and his side of my family are part Blackfoot but when I ask about how much blood they have they say they don't know and I think they don't really care about it even though my Grammy has Indian things she got from her mother all I can tell yall is that Shook is there last names.
I know about this. The personality retained. The progression of a soul. With vocation to remember a language... Yada did say, she did she did. Fragmented b b b the only one word in plain English to express knowing y'all heard of it too. This assimilation was to make it of service to em. As y'all too have this commonality. It was her be the strongest chord. But instead I learned the language of no words. Now I be it to know the poor thang she full up. It was her set it back on the wheel. She'd seen truth lie in the eyes of men. Some big project, waited 55 years. Now I take the chord for the lil poor thing. She the strongest chord. I know.
No one pure heart. We all human. Can be bought sold bribed threatened coerced..or just be lazy...ignorant. its the choice of each breathing creature. The change you seek is inside you.
