I like listening to Davidson…he clearly has a plan for this team and knows what he’s doing. I like what he said about the young players, because I definitely think that’s important to consider and I like that he and Luke recognize that
Say what you will, but there is NO WAY any of us can understand what Bedard had to go through this season. He may still win the Calder, but that's besides the point. Between the jaw and the BS about Perry and the people who started that or bought into it, and then playing for a team with the second worst record this year and the expectations put on him and the amount of microphones that have been shoved in his face, I think it's fair to say nobody out there can understand that kind of pressure. So if you can't find something good to say about him or the Hawks, shut up about it already. And for those of you who don't understand what a "rebuild" is, research it before you complain. It doesn't happen overnight, and it isn't an easy process. Be faithful to your team or not, it's your call. But if you can't be faithful, think about being a fan of the Blues for 49 years without a Cup. That was me. I still am a fan, but I've added the Blackhawks to my list because I've always liked them, and because they need TRUE FANS.
You can’t be a Blues fan and a Blackhawks fan. That doesn’t compute. That’s like saying you’re a Yankees fan AND a Red Sox fan. You clearly don’t understand fandom.
Some people just only hang around when times are good. I am 39 years old and have been a rabid Hawks fan since I was a child. My experience as a Hawks fan up until 88 & 19 was embarrassing, the Hawks were a joke of the league & I don’t mean just because they were last constantly. Most will never understand how satisfying that 2010 Cup was after being there through all the dark times of this franchise. Hawks will be back and even if it isn’t like the Kane & Toews era there is good times ahead again for sure with Bedard here. Let’s Go Hawks!!!
This was the 1 st year of the rebuild next year should be better just on better health add a couple of young players and a couple of B level free sgents and this team could be 15 pts better than this year look for year 3 of the rebuild to take that next jump in pts !!!
@@DarC_25 Absolutely he’s a solid backup! If every other goaltender (including high school) is unavailable he’s wonderful. If you’re looking for someone that actually has a minor concept as to where the puck is though? Yeah, not happening 😂🤣😂
@@pederhalverson2591 it could be worse look how many shots per period we allow and how many went in he had no one in front of him that was decent the young kids were learning
I’m not worried about Bedard, as long as this team gets out of the basement next year. But a culture of losing is terrible for development. The NHL draft can be a crapshoot, and development takes a lot of time. 40 minutes though, that’s pretty good considering that Bulls President Arturas Karnisovis’ end of season Press Conference didn’t even last 20 minutes.
