I am a 44-year-old Canadian who grew up a huuuuge Blackhawks fan. A previous captain of the London Knights (OHL) lived with us when I was a kid and he got drafted by Chicago when I was 9 years old. I never got to see a Blackhawks game live when I was a kid which was my dream. Now that I am a man, I live in Beijing, China as an international school principal with my family. We always go back to Ontario for the summer, but could never see a Hawks game because it's the offseason. When Covid first hit in China in early 2020, my family went back to Ontario temporarily. It had not broken out in the states yet. This was my one chance to see a Hawks game live, and with my son. We flew from Toronto to Chicago and I took him to a game at the United Center with the real Hawks team (Keith, Seabrook, Crawford, Saad, Toews and Kane). They beat McDavid and the Oilers 4-2. The anthem was really emotional, and it was hard for me to hold back tears of joy for finally being able to see a Hawks game live, and with my son. It was my only chance, and I took it. One of the great moments of my life. I am back with my family in China now, but will never forget that trip I took to Chicago for a few days with my son. Thanks Patrick, Taser and all the rest of that nucleus dynasty that won three cups. - from a Canadian Hawks fan in Beijing, China.
As a Bruins fan, I’m still not even close to being over the Stanley cup loss in Boston to the Hawks. However I have tremendous respect for Kane, can’t deny the skill and what a good look for the NHL
Even as a Canucks fan I've always admired him so much. One of my all time favorite players and a living legend. So glad he has still many years left in him.
Born and raised near Chicago grew up playing hockey and watching the hawks even with all the controversy going around Patrick Kane will always be one of the best hockey players of all time and such a huge inspiration to hockey players of any group
It’s likely because he’s thinking about all that time and how it came to having a son finally. Kane’s relationship with his father is very strong, and I imagine he has wanted a son a long time.
Patrick my Congratulations to you on an accomplished milestone. It is because of you the Hawks are doing outstanding winning 6 Stanley cups. Keep up with the great work. And let's do another 10000 games. Great Job Patrick Great Job!
Way to go Patrick you are one of the All time greats no doubt about it . Love to see humble guys like you succeed . May God bless you and your family !
Congrats 🎉 to you Patrick Kane you truly are a legend. I have always loved 🥰 to watch you play on the ice 🧊. You have worked so hard to earn the silver stick but you deserve it keep on making more goals. Go Blackhawks !!!!!!!!.
Congratulations to South Buffalo own Patrick Kane thousand games in the NFL with the Chicago Blackhawks one day you'll be a Buffalo your hometown team in Buffalo but right now I'll be rooting for Chicago
Some say Crosby got them into hockey, others say Ovechkin, for me it was Patrick Kane, even as a Sens fan I loved watching him on the ice and was always fascinated with what he could with the puck, I’ll always be a fan of his till the day he retires, 100% deserved this moment, Congratulations to Patty Hatty, 1k for Patrick Kane
For me it was Evgeni Malkin with his amazing combination of skill and size. Kinda like Mario back in the day. For that generation of NHL Players I rank em like this 1. Sidney Crosby 2. Alex ovechkin 3. Patrick Kane 4. Evgeni malkin. All generational talents and first ballot hall of famers. League won’t be the same without em.
I honestly used to hate him and the hawks. Still hate the hawks, but Kaner's a staple in the NHL. Consistant goal scorer, playmaker and a grat guy overall.
Congratulations to the cab driver taking it to the dome, Kane would not be the player had it not been for that instant Years in the making just goes grest
