There are still a bunch of settings and features missing in the Android version. Some of them are the flat color profile and LUT input. The app also crashes often. Hopefully, they will fix the issues and add more features in the coming update
I can't seem to change the aperture on my S24 Ultra - it's stuck on whatever minimum is set for whatever lens you use. Shooting outside with 50 ISO at 24fps and everything is washed out. I can adjust the shutter speed/angle (increase the speed), but that defeats the purpose of shooting at 24fps with a 180 degree shutter angle.
Can the blackmagic app use the dji mic 2 as an audio source? I couldnt get mine to work with the blackmagic app but it works with Samsung Native Camera Pro Mode and it will be the audio source.....the dji mic 2 will also be the source when use Samsung Voice Recorder...so its not my mic 2
Unfortunately the apple version is still better since it has remote monitoring and control support for Mirrorless cameras. Wish the app developers gave the same features. Many apps are not as good on android because they don't give the same features
I think this app sucks. It drops frames often when shooting in 60 fps on my s24 Ultra which is considered the best Android in the market. I don’t have any problems with my iPhone 13 mini.
The Android optimization for the application is still in its early stages, as it was recently launched in a beta-like state. Future updates are expected to address any performance issues. Additionally, the application occasionally experiences crashes, which is really annoying
Thats the story with Android camera apps since ever. Don't think this records Proves either, which is kinda why I'd want to use a third party app over skipping the phone and buying a BMPCC4K for the same price...
