If u want light mode 0:35 enabled but u want the best performance on games then light mode turns off automatically while gaming but it doesn't turn off in video/audio/ photo editing apps wich are where u Want maximum performance too so in order to make it turn off automatically u can find the modes and routines 25:48 section in settings app and set an automation so when u open the apps of your choice then standard performance profile will be enabled automatically.. and when u exit the app it goes back to light ( if you choose so )
routines is one of this life improvements things that seem insignificant at first but boy does it deliver. For example, I have a car with the radio in it that uses internet to listen to radio stations and also uses internet for google maps and trafic info etc. . So i set up a routine for the phone to turn on wifi sharing every time the phone connects to the radio by bluetooth. So now everytime i get in to the car my phone connects to the radio by bluetooth and then turns on wifi sharing. So the radio has wifi and turns on Radio station and google maps and trafic info are immediatly available. When i turn off the car the phones notices and turnes off wifi sharing. A little thing but if you drive a lot it simplifies everything so much .
16:17 The dark setting can save a lot of battery power, as the screen is not back lit. In light mode, most of the pixels will be powered to light up. I tend to use dark mode on all my apps as well.
@@georgelock638 the difference is noticable, i dont believe you even ran tests lmao, because if you did good tests you would see the difference is pretty noticable. look at other people's tests
@chriswest2290 Of course, choose your what you prefer. I have done a lot of work with AMOLED or Active Matrix Organic Light Emitting Diodes panels, and from the tests, the current reduces with the number of black pixels. If you just check the most power-hungry part of a mobile phone, it's normally the display panel or processor.
I don't use dark mode to save battery. Dark mode makes everything easier to see. Any light backdrop gets my eyes tired faster. And imo, the white over black just looks and works better. I have it that way on my comp and I insist on it for phones as well. If it somehow were found that dark mode used more battery, I'd say battery be damned. I want my phone functional.

I'm a little confused here and this could be my phone not working properly. But, how does he have 3 days of battery life at 84%, when I get like a 1 day of battery life saying in the settings?
Yeah, basically every phone is like this, in fact not only phone other devices like laptops also like this why? I think the time it says is correct only if you leave the phone on standby.
Isn't odd how all the settings " lists" are vertical, then they refuse to incorporate an option that was removed, the vertical app drawer or list. List are vertical. No one uses a left to right list. They incorporate AI but not a vertical app list...? Wtf Samsung?
Correction... heif photos are actually not any less quality, sometimes actually higher quality.. same with video, you should switch to hevc and turn on high bitrate more.. u get a much better video quality.
Hey I recently bought it and I just wanted to know one thing Can you put the s pen upside down By upside down I mean when you unboxing for the first time the button is facing downwards meaning it is facing towards the camera (the button is on the back side) Is it reversible meaning can I put the button side up (can I insert the pen where the button is towards the screen meaning the button is on the screens side)
23:57 - it's not true. HEVC = H.265 it's newer and way better codec standard than H.264 "Video quality: There is a big difference between H.264 and H.265 codecs regarding video quality at the same bitrate. In H.264, the borders of the blocks are likely to be distorted. This is because each macroblock is fixed, and each macroblock’s data is independent of one another. With H.265, on the other hand, the images are sharper and more detailed, with less blocking and fewer artifacts. This is because it determines the size of the CTUs based on regional information. As a result, H.265 is superior to H.264 when compression with better image quality."
You should definitely make more of these bro. like for other phones. You find the settings even Sakitech doesn't mention... and that MF goes for days lol
I stopped watching the video at Good Lock part, because i am getting S24 in a couple of weeks and I don't want any spoilers and want to experience it myself when i get it
10:50 I have a wifi 7 capable router and would love to use it. But i cant even find that same "Wifi 7 mode" in my settings. What i have instead is "Switching to mobile data faster".
I had to laugh when you pointed to the double popsicle image and didn't know what it was. Back in the day, you could buy a popsicle that came two in a pack, and you'd split it in half and either share it with someone or save it for yourself.
Wide spread compaibility is no small thing. MP3s are said to be inferior to one format or another. But personally I don't care, because all my devices will work with them.
@@IReziiii Maybe outdoor/landscape photos, but pretty much all other types of photography the iphone will likely do better. The S24 ultra is astonishingly bad (for its price) at taking pictures in poor lighting and if the object is moving (like animals and kids). Its default image processing also sucks. It overexposes and oversaturates the majority of pictures, but there are ways to get around it. The cameras on this phone are good, but I would not buy this if photography was my largest motivator in choosing a phone. I love this phone, but you should only get it if you want the s pen or large, square screen.
You should update your phone before making these, lol. The AI features are now at a different place and I am relatively certain that it's from the update your phone says is available.
