Really interesting stuff! I appreciate you always sharing your knowledge! In the case of the first one you did with the grow edges setup, what method would you use to track the mask? Would it require manual roto?
Another great tutorial. Thanks. I am wondering if this technique could be "reversed" in order to improve some footage that is a bit out of focus? I know that out of focus footage cant be put into focus. But maybe adding some sharpness to the high frequencies could help a bit. Adding general sharpness will usually just sharpen noise in the areas without detail, so isolating high frequencies with this techniqu could maybe help a bit.
@Milolab Tuts I do have a question. When you add the MaskPaint node, and adjust the Blur, in my case it was blurring everything in the BG but the stroke. I had to invert the MaskPaint node. Is there anything you were doing differently to get the blur applied to the stroke? In yours the MaskPaint node isnt inverted I noticed. Thanks
