Richie has not lost a thing. Still an incredible guitarist. I used to think that he was crazy to walk away from the limelight, but as I age, I understand. He never walked away from his love of music and his amazing talent.

That was my favorite instrumental composition by Blackmores'Night when I was 17 years old, at that time I only had my clasical guitar and tape recorder, no computer! No Tabs! I used only my ears and fingers to find the right notes on the neck of the guitar to be able to start to play this song! 😎🎸

Richie proved in his own way that he is cooler than Ian Gillan, after leaving Deep Purple he created Rainbow, then Blackmore's Night. Ian is also cool in his own way, but he still remains in the same genre.

Something I noticed, beyond music, which has nothing to be discussed when Blackmore is the main event. Just lay back, enjoy n be proud u lived and shyred time on Earth with such unreapitable guitar legend. Issue I want to mention is the bass player who can not hide his complex towards Ritcjie n also he has more then friendly affection towards Candice , go through videos, it doesnt require to be psych PhD to see clear body language

2005... last days of my Goth/ Metal/ Medieval times so to say... especially Mond Tanz brings back memories :) Yes, you were big in our scene in Germany, I remember well. And you´ll always have a huge spot in my heart :) Regarding Child in Time though: Nothing beats the live recording by Deep Purple, ever... special kind of magic :)

Конечно Ричи по своему доказал, что он круче чем Ян Гиллан, после ухода из состава Дипп Пёрпл, он создал Радугу, затем и Блэкморе Снайд. Ян тоже по своему крут, но он до сих пор в одном и том же жанре остался.

Very elegant arrangement, but nothing beats Ian Gillan's 'baby cries'. They were used to emphasize the lyrics. A calm, controlled, adult vocal doesn't really do that. 'Child In Time' is a song that needs ot be really load with explosive mood shifts, and the lyrics should almost be screamed and not just sung.
