Could you please react to AESPA?? They're a new kpop girl group and they happen to also have 4 members. And in some of their interview, they said that they became close to each other after the formation of the group. So i wanted to see you're point of view of their relationship. Also they all speak english with Giselle and Karina being the most fluent.
The other girls, mostly Jennie I think, is teaching Jisoo a lot of English and Jennie has stated that even if Jisoo gets to shy to speak a lot of English she understands most of what you are saying.
And the way he was spot on with saying Jennie can be introverted in a day and extroverted in another day, and also what he said about Jisoo's personality and Rosé's, this guy is good
Jisoo is known to have a 4D (eccentric) personality. She can make you laugh but can also be serious when needed and she’s street smart so you’ll never get bored when you’re with her. And you are right, she’s known to be the leader of the group not only by taking care of members but also have a strong personality and wise enough to make difficult decisions.
Please do see jisoo in korean interviews and also her magazine interviews. Many reporters praise her that she looks in the eye of person while they are talking to show them respect as it is her way and she has amazingly good with words. The day jisoo starts speaking english fluently it will be end of me. she has so much to show.
you were pretty spot on w everything! jennie and jisoo, being the older ones, usually take on the leadership roles, but rosé is also very confident. jisoo is the moodmaker/funny members! as for what you said abt jennie being introverted one day and extroverted the next, that was so true and the same can be said of her stage persona, if she feels like it she'll keep it at a safe 90% but if she wants she can turn it up to 110% energy. As for lisa, she's definitely known to turn it up for the cameras whether that's her loud personality or her off the charts stage presence. great analysis as always, thanks for reacting to this :)
actually jisoo understands english pretty well, she just has a hard time speaking it sometimes but she's improving a lot! plus she's a language genius, jisoo speaks korean, japanese, chinese and a little bit of thai
I can tell you’re legit because you mentioned the big 5 personality traits and I learned that because I’m a psych major in university. 1. Lisa really does turn it on for the camera it’s insane that you noticed that from this. Also LISA speaks like 5 languages so her reading languages is what she struggles with most so that also why she reads the words like a script. She doesn’t wanna mess up but she’s gotten SO much better in her recent English interviews. 2. Jisoo is good with confrontation which is true but also Lisa and Jisoo have that relationship where they play fight like brother and sister and tease eachother a lot. Jisoo also understands English very well but she’s just not confident enough to speak it. 4. Lisa also has that playful fighting personality with Rosé. They use to not like each other when they first met but they became so close that they would walk out wearing the same clothes all the time lol. They bicker a lot and if you see it it’s really funny. 5. They’re actually all really touchy with each other like even when Jennie and Rosé, Jisoo and Lisa etc. And the way they interact with each other and speak to each other when not in interviews shows how extremely close they are. Like they’re all literally sisters. When I was looking them up at first their genuine connection is what sold me after their music lol.
Lisa Can turn it on for the camera, she's a whole different character, while Jisoo may seem sweet at first sight but she's so REAL I just love her personality 💜 I hope you could react to Mamamoo as well though please 😭 and am waiting for another BTS reaction 👏💜 (was that too much to ask? lol)

Yeah my bias is jisoo and Rosé but as an army I studied this from RM that as a leader they want to translate English to their members but here in blackpink Rosé and Jennie is well known for their English speaking but in caring it should be jisoo but in other things like translating Rosé or jennie and in controlling Jennie and in others Lisa I think this is the reason why blackpink don't have leader so they share their duties have a nice day from an armyblink
In my opinion, the leader shouldn't be anyone. If I have to pick one, it will be Jennie. She was supposedly the leader of Pink Punk, and she is the longest in YG amongst the 4 girls. Jennie usually talks to the management on behalf of BP. Jisoo does not have all these. A motherly figure ain't a leader. A fatherly figure is.

yeah that's why blackpink doesn't have an official leader (one of few kpop groups, it's kinda uncommon), all 4 members add something unique and different to the group :) but jennie and jisoo - the two oldest - most likely seem to take care of that role. jisoo is very caring and supportive but also honest, she's like a mum to the group being the oldest. jennie is the best at making decisions according to the other members. she puts her foot down and is often the one who talks to their company if something bugs them. i really adore their group dynamic!
Evan tho Jennie was Supposed to be the leader of “pink punk” Jisoo has really been known by us blinks as the unofficial leader and mom of the group. ( Jennie would be awsome aswell tho )
People keep saying Jisoo is the leader, Jennie is the leader.. if 🖤💗 has leader others would do what leader say, it's kind of overpowering.. chain of command.. gladly they has no leader so all of them can be treated equally.. keep that in mind before saying the word leader.. leader controls the group, others have to follow the leader command..

Something I thought about is that many kpop groups don't act like they usually do, because the interview is in English. You might get better insight if you look up korean interviews or rather just translated clips of them hanging out

The good thing about Body language is that it is subconscious that's why it's interesting to watch kpop idols because they r restricted in many ways.
I recommend you to watch their korean shows like Blackpink House or 24/365 with blackpink. It would really show their personalities and communicative skills because they are much comfortable to speak on their first language. As for Lisa, she’s so good in korean and any other languages so her personality still shows off either ways.
Jennie actually was supposed to be the leader back when Blackpink wasn't Blackpink yet but Pink Punk and still had 9 members instead of 4. But those were pre-debut times though. It makes sense though, usually either the oldest (Jisoo) or the member who trained the longest under the agency and most experienced get the leader role (Jennie, 6 years). I'm sure Jennie would've been a great leader, I'm kinda glad they don't have one now though because that position can be really pressuring and tiring. She's more of an introvert and shy person most of the time, maybe it would've stressed her. Anyway, Blackpink shows that they don't need a leader and I like how all four members have their own qualities!

BP is known to be a super reserved gg. They don't interact with fans much, keep themselves from talking and opening up, nobody truly knows them/ personality very well. They make shure to show only what they want to.

Is not as much that Jisoo is their leader, you're right when you observed that they are very balanced with each other. But Jisoo is their unnie, which means she's like the older sister of the group and since age difference plays an important role in korean culture, she has more of a responsibility in caring for the younger members, which btw she does it in the most loving way. You can also observe in this video Lisa and Rosé being closer to each other.. even phisically.. that's also because they are the same age. As Jennie is closer in age with Jisoo, that's also why they're naturally get paired together. In reality the four of them truly treat each like sisters, in a very loving, caring, supporting and playful way. They lived together for almost 10 years, they grew up together and they still work together and are pretty close.
