Yes, it’s been two years but in those two years BLACKPINK were releasing Rosé’s and Lisa’s solos and they got time to do solo activities plus enjoy family time while working on their album.
So true, it's weird how people expect them to live, I mean they aren't Robots.. and they didn't even disappear they worked so hard on themselves, and fans got a lot of solo moments that they fall in love with..
Don’t kid yourselves.. their severely mismanaged and yge doesn’t anywhere near deserve these girls. They promote them more individually than they ever had as a group. These girls have been talking about making demo after demo after demo of music bc they wanted to get back to work .. they wanted to make new music as a group… Jennie promoted her solo while still touring and appearing with blackpink. Lisa and rose are more than capable of doing the same. Yge treats them like they’re social media influencers and uses all the money they bring in to line their pockets and put into their male idols. Yge is notorious for being extremely sexist and treating their female idols with such little respect and care compared to the males. They only had ONE album in more than four years.. and only one of them with solo work at a big 3 company… that is so not okay. Other idols do group promoting albums and also work on kdramas or anything else they can. Their one album has EIGHT songs… two released prior to the album coming out and three of them were collabs…. Which means 3 original songs that were only black pink… that is ridiculous. It’s not “special edition” like yge tries to play it off as… it’s not letting them develop and progress into their full potential… this isn’t about wanting them to be overworked or wanting them to have free time… this is their career that will not last forever…. They were one of the two biggest groups in the world at the time… and if you compare what both of these groups did in a very uncertain time … it is very obvious the lack of attention , care and consideration that blackpink got from their company. They were huge, riding high off the Coachella performances and all the hype around them… and then…. Crickets…. Absolutely nothing that would allow their newer popularity… help them gain places on stage and at events within the American music industry which has always been a goal. They could have done so much … but instead.. they did bare minimum at best. This is not a career where you let huge opportunities like that just escape you. They’re criminally mismanaged and it makes me sick that ppl will back the company that treats them as cash cows instead of helping them grow as artists and evolve more into themselves. The reason this fandom has the worst solo Stan’s is bc of yge…. They use these fanwars to drive sales bc the solo Stan’s fight harder for their biases… and ends in the other three members being hated on and dragged all over social media for no good reason… bc ppl are too stupid to aim the negative attention back at the company making the decisions… none of these girls. It’s horrific that any blinks would be okay with the way they’re treated. All four of them deserve so much more than what they’re getting

When I heard “one by one and two by two” I immediately thought of Pon De Replay by Rihanna. Rihanna says “one by one, even two by two” but it’s with the same inflections as Lisa. With the rap part, it definitely gives 90s Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg vibes. The beat is very Dr. Dre-esque. This song gets better with every listen!!! Love it 🖤

Jenlisa killed the rap part, they add more swag in the song. Chaesoo killed the bridge part, they added more flavor to the song because of their different tone of vocals. Honestly speaking, Jisoo is the one who stood out for me. FOR ME. Not only because of her visual (That always kills me) but damn, her aura changed. It's like I'm seeing the different side of THE Kim Jisoo. The brow lift, the sudden change of gaze, damn.
