If I'm so beautiful, then why?" - This song is obviously about the girl caught her man cheating and they got into a relationship ending arguement. Followed by Rose, "The doors we slammed, the plates we smashed echo with the sound of madness. I can't remember why we try." proves it. Then Jisoo's line, "My heart only wants you, the moment you say no." She hates him for doing it and doesn't want him then realizes when he ends it that she loves him and would rather hide the tears than loose him. Popping bottles and rolling paper helps her cope with it by reminding her of when the relationship was in the early stages.

You guys should watch their Netflix documentary. I believe it's called light up the sky (please correct me if it's not). It's a deep dive in them as individual artists, their backgrownds and how they came to be as a group. Also they talk a lot about their lives as public figures especially in the Kpop industry. I believe it could give you a better understanding of them not only as a group but as individual atrists themselves.

Great reaction. Thank you for sharing with us all :). Jisoo and Lisa to my mind shine in this. The emotion they have put into their voices is just wow... I have listened to this song a few, well a lot of times now. My initial thoughts where it is about a breakup. But, I am not so sure. Moreso as you can hear the emotion from all of them. They are singing this from the heart and from experience. I believe this is about all the hurt and hate they have endured over the years. Saying yes you can hate us, yes you can hurt us. But, we will never let you see how much you have hurt us. I am sure there will be lots who disagree with me and that is your right and choice. I am only saying what I think this song is about. Could I be wrong, yes of course, I never wrote it. I can only guess. But when you put what is said in relation to other songs on this album. The fact they are all singing this from the heart and you can hear the hurt not just from one or two of them. But, all of them. I think my thoughts could be right. What I do know is when they sing this live in concert. It is going to get a lot of emotions from the people there. Look forward to more reactions :).

Up until Rose's last chorus, the instrumentation was low key piano and their voice, except for Jisoo's. I felt sadness in their lower tones.. When Rose's last chorus began the music increased, a drum and I think one more instrument was added and their tones got higher and louder. Also, Jisoo is the mama bear of the group, being the unnie or eldest, so she never cries. Whereas, Lisa Rose and Jennie are easily brought to tears. So Jisoo's part, "I can stop the tears if I want to" was the perfect arrangement. Also, she repeats it 3 times as if to try and convince herself that she actually can stop the tears. I think it is their best song ever. Vocally, emotionally. I hope the haters that say Jisoo can't sing listen to this song. They all stepped it up for this one.

This song is actually written by Teddy Sinclair/Natalia KIlls as a demo for BP, and BP added a new line on the bridge and they put their heart into it. It's such an emotional song, it definitely fits their voices.

I hate how the color coding videos always miss the layering.... Like on Jisoo part in the chorus "I can't stop the tears if I want to" Rosé is layered and then Rosé's part in the ending is layered with Lisa (she's singing the lower octave) (Jennie's part is layered with herself on the lower octave I believe) But yeah it's so beautiful so it's disappointing that a lot of people miss it. Their voices are so different yet mesh together so well...
