the solo thing is in every k-pop group. example, i went to stray kids concert last year and each member did a solo song of theirs and the duos and then the full member songs. during the whole concert solos were kinda sprinkled in and it made it super super exciting for stays.

Their concert is the best thing I've ever witnessed in my entire life Like y'all can't judge them without watching them. Each member shines individually as well as a group. The 4 of them have different colors and flavours to add in the group. You can identify easily who is who. I mainly started listening to them because they are different from other k-pop groups.

The difference between one direction and groups like bp and bts is that as a group these two are really close. Not only them but many kpop groups are really close. They really don't shade each other nor they feel jealous. The main reason is that they train together years after years. Through this hard process they become each other's support system. Obviously there some groups who aren't close. Anyway due to this closeness you can feel their chemistry when they perform. You know just like BP. But yeah BP slayed so hard in Coachella.

Others grew with time, But in BLACKPINK's case they were born to be on stage since Day 1. And it shows. Their debut music show performances were better than veteran group shows. People we're shocked how they never performed anything like a 'rookie' Their debut in award shows blew people away to the point that it went viral. And it do be like that in YGE. Not ONE artist was lesser than the best of performers of their gen. All the leaders came from YGE. It was the same in early 2000s and it'll be the same in the future.

I'm such a fan of kpop but there is 3 groups I love the most I'm a midzy a stay and a blink my biases are Felix and hyunjin from straykids yeji and lia from itzy and Lisa and jisoo from Blackpink skz was the first kpop group I have known ever and Felix and hyunjin were the first members I know about so they are my all time favorite

You should definitely look more into ither groups !! Most/all groups have solo performances during concerts and stuff. There are so many oter underrated groups you should definitely check out. I can only recommend ggs since im a gg stan. If you're into vocals, mamamoo and red velvet are good. If you're into overall performances/good choreo, itzy, gidle and lesserafim are good as well. Im sure there's mnay more but I can't name them all at the top of my head lol

That is part of the reason I like six the musical, it is talking about the 6 wives of Henry the 8th and they have a song at the beginning and then each one does a solo song then they come back together at the end

Dang I’ve never been a one direction fan and never really liked them but that caught me off guard😮

It's common for kpop groups to do solo act for each member in concerts, if they dont have a solo song or singing isnt their strong suit, they will do a dance number or play musical instruments (or other talents) instead. If they dont feel like performing alone, they'd ask one or two other members to do something with them.

Because that’s the norm in K-pop. For people new to K-pop and only know BTS and BLACKPINK, I encourage y’all to explore. These groups are 3rd gen. Other 3rd gen groups, 2nd gen and 4th gen groups will have y’all swooning❤ Many talented performers and gorgeous people over there.

Kpop is way different than other groups..first, some of them are training since middle school or high school...they meet the members at that age and even live together and sleep together like 6-10 trainees in one small room for quite some time...all of them living far away from their family so they only have each other practicing at least 16 hr a day...some company even forbid their trainees to have a phone before debuted so they can't even contact their family...so basically they only have each other and doing everything together like going to school, training, sleep, eating, playing, on graduation day, celebrating each other birthday, when happy, when sad, when sick like literally doing everything with each other since a very young age...so that explains why they can be together as a group for a long time cause they are not friends anymore they are family ...they saw each other growing from just cute middle schoolers until being an adult man...they go through all that process together
