A lot of times I find him simplistic and in this interview doddering, and I think that's why he got tagged team from both sides with interruptions to keep the interview lively. I also think he is not so pointed and opinionated simply because he has a vast universe of investments to all promote at the same time...

Suggest reading, Capital Order by Clara Mattei. She is an economist who dug deep to understand austerity shortly after WW I. She clearly describes the playbook. Austerity and what she calls the "trinity" are designed to maintain capitalisms control over workers. Austerity, itself, is not an effective tool to manage debt as these folks as well as politicians promise. Best

Greetings from Canada! At least Fink starts much needed discussion about finances and retirement. I really like the interviews he gave this week. START EARLY. ( force yourself to put aside 10%). 18 to 25, investing 1,000$ each year ( that”s a total of 8,000$) in a good ETF S& P, historically with returns of 10% per year, and let it run until you reach 65, Just check how much $ you would en up with. Amazing.

I got an idea Mr. Fink. You should convince our government and your peers to keep great paying jobs in the states, instead of wasting your energy on the DEI flop. Imagine what all of those great paying jobs with 401k plans would do for your investment products. After all the reason 57M people have no retirement saving might just be that they live paycheck to paycheck after working 2-3 jobs.
