@@bonniegomez5333 I do get it buddy … and we use to say .. what flavor you want … GRAPE or RED ??? Ain’t nobody say purple or red … go watch house party plzzz
@@thedivinebrycelamore lol I don't need to, we all just said the color and never the flavor of ANY drink. This person is correct, it's just purple lmao.
As a white guy from the south, these still hold true! And ain’t no such thing as grape kool aid. It’s purple. Always been purple. Always will be purple
100 percent. A lot of the things people call "black culture" are really more universally "southern culture" and not necessarily something all black people can relate to.
@Nick_Lamb I mean I would agree to an extent, of course black people aren't a monolith. I'd say these behaviors extend to black folks outside of the South whereas it seems like for white folks these norms are most common when they're from the South?* Could be wrong though, I don't know every white person or every black person so there's no way to know lol.😂
@etherealnerd You are totally right! Yeah, these behaviors are found in "blacks" all over the U.S., but are mostly just in the south for "whites". I first noticed this when I related to basically every single thing on "growing up black" memes 🤣. I think Thomas Sowell has the best explanation for why this is. He wrote a book about it that is on youtube, but saying the name gets comments censored. I can try to get around the censor if you want the name, but yeah I just find this stuff interesting.
@@Nick_Lamb probably has to do with the fact that the majority of black people lived in the south, so it was the place where white people lived in closest proximity to black people.
My mama nem never said that second one to the kids. We always got "this grown folks bizness, go sitcha ass down somewhere" in that country ass Texas accent 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Go sit down after breaking something!? We past the point of Go sit down somewhere. We wasn't suppose to be wrestling in the first place. Now we crying while we go cut a switch 😭😭
