@@donbototo5068 Bro, the Net is overrun with rogue AI just waiting to royally MESS UP humanity. The Blackwall is literally the only thing keeping these people safe from those AI. Being forced to connect beyond the Blackwall is like sticking your weenie-hut jr appendage into a live hornet's nest.
frying neurons is not a main problem. In that second main problem is AI slowly eating concept of your individuality by rewrite your engramm esential algoritms... From your perspective this process spend 10K years...
Can you imagine how terrifying this would be in real life? Like imagine you watch some dude get into an argument over someone else cutting in line, and the other guy just sends him to brain Purgatory without laying a finger on him.
To think the only thing protecting the people of the cyberpunk world from stuff like this is the equivalent of a cut up plastic trash bag over a broken window
Plot twist: the plastic bag is a lie. Its your mind trying to make sense of the 4d shard of a semi-benevolent eldritch horror beyond comprehension protecting humanity from its rampocious siblings.
This is the cyberpunk equivalent of letting a human take a split-second peek into a Lovecraftian god's mind. You either die or end up in a state where you _wish you had just died._
I know a lot of Tigers, Scavs, and Raffen that are going to feel that once I get it. I tell you one thing tho, i have a new found appreciation for what Netwatch does.
Me unleashing the unfathomable, endless and brutal wrath of a digital god that cannot be understood by mortal means upon the random mugger I found in the street:
@@BallMuncher555 i like to think that the AIs beyond the black wall have esentually dragged that persons consciousness kicking and screaming into whatever lay beyond
Whats your build for a canto netrunner build, I’m wanting to max on my intelligence for the build but was curious what perks and what abilities i should use for my deck
You should take some perks in strength. It will improve your health, then you can take the last perk in intelligence, IDK how it's called in English, but it takes your health, when you out of memory.
@@10thousand74and then you'll lose on the best perks, stealth, pistols and revolvers, which are also the biggest, coolest and strongest weapon sets ;)
@@r3x85 yeah no. Berserk is melee only and sandy only works great with melee weapons, pistols and double barrel shotguns.... Quickhacks can be used as a pure netrunner OR with hybrid builds which uses guns, blades or blunt weapons like gorilla arms. If you wanna do everything, quickhacks hybrid, if you wanna be a one trick poney, berserk or sandy.
Blackwall Gateway is most effective when you have Overclock active. It demands a high cost of RAM to reliably spread, and with Overclock, you can trade health for RAM to upload beyond normal limits. This would also be effective with Adrenaline Rush and a Biomonitor/Blood Pump.
Spoilers ahead: In the mission where you sneak into the Stadium with Alex, you must side with Reed and load the icebreaker on Songbird. Then, finish the mission and keep going through the Max Tac Boss Fight and the Cynosence Facility until you reach the Alien-Isolation-like part with the Cerberus mech, in the first stage, if you enter in the Engineering department (You need Intel and Tech), you get the Erebus Smart SMG blueprint, after finishing that part and getting into stage two of the chase you must sneak in the Prototypes room and there is the Militech Canto Mk 6 Cyberterminal blueprint. After finishing the main story, regardless if you let Songbird to die or save her, an unknown number will contact you after the final dialogue with Reed, the message will say that you must go to the Kabuki Netrunner to get a decrypted chip. That chip is the final component for build the Erebus SMG OR the Militech Canto Mk 6 Cyberterminal. You must build the Cyberterminal and you get the Blackwall Gateway Quickhack. The Erebus SMG has similar effects, so the final choice depends on your playstyle and your tastes
U need to choose the Reed path in Phantom Liberty then while in the survival horror segment access a room with a code then you can get the blueprints (make sure to get the chip from the robot later)
I know I'm late but: yes. Look at your intelligence perks. You can upload blackwall to every single enemy in sight simultaneously and instantly when you fill every queue with control hacks for example followed by blackwall.
@@Sebastian-tf2gu blackwall gateway in general uploads very quickly if there's another quickhack in the qeue, otherwise it uploads very slowly. Also helps to build your qeue perks.
So basically what this hack does is it lets black wall AI's into your mind, and those AI's tear apart cyberwear functions and your psyche, rendering you well...dead. Basically a bunch of robots invades your brain, commanding your body to tear itself apart while your still aware of it
I never play the dlc, but from what I guess, your character forcefully put the target conciousness inside sea of rogue AIs that is blocked by blackwall, apparently blackwall is the name of the system, not the digital place.
Because the blackwall hack has an extremely long upload time for the initial upload. If you queue 3 other hacks before, the blackwall hack will be uploaded instantly. You can find this in your intelligence perks.
