Blade Runner Soundtrack "Blush response" cover by gattobus

This is my attempt to recreate this incredible Vangelis track from the original "Blade Runner" movie. Everything is played in real time, no overdubs or pre recorded tracks.
I used Roland System 500 modular for atmospheric FX, System-8 for the main lead and arpeggio, SE-02 for the bass track and TR-08 for the drums.
Audio recorded via integrated USB out from each instrument.
Original dialogues taken from the movie and added later.
Mixed and mastered through Ableton Live suite.

Fantastic performance sir Gattobus! And I imagine an even more impressive preparation phase went into this than meets the eye. I very much appreciate your approach to these tributes and your fine understanding of synthesis. You seem like the kind of person that would be a ton of fun to just sit and listen to electronic music with. I imagine you can pick out most synth circuitry with ease! Cheers!

Hey there, I've been trying to figure out the blush response sequence for ages. I don't suppose you either have the midi/score that I could reference or even if you just know the notes of the arpeggio I could probably go from there... Either way, absolutely stunning cover. You should be very proud :)

Great! I knew the System-8 is a formidable synth. The dialog between Rachel and Blad Runner always vexes me. She is asking him questions, but then Tyrell addresses BR as if he had questioned Rachel. The conversation starts innocently enough from his side and she is the one who drills deeper and confronts him with his "work". I think the film got cut and something from the original conversation got lost.

Nothing was cut from the conversation. Only Tyrell knows that Rachel is a replicant and he is passing her off as a human to see just how good of job he did with Rachel.

Gianni, I love this. But may I ask a question about the process? When you say the original dialogues are taken from the movie and added later, did those dialogues already have backing music, and if so, did you remove it somehow?
