@Luke Exactly. With the Juno, any difference is the same as two vintage Juno’s sound by side. The nature of analog. For the drift, turn up condition all the way, and mess around with the “master tune” they work in conjunction together when both tweaked 😉 I just think the S8 is monumental to the world of synthesis in being the first VA that actually does what VA was made for. Prior to Roland’s ACB tech, VA never really could do it’s original purpose of nailing analog digitally. I hear noticeable differences with Roland’s plug outs for the System-1 however, but I think it’s because those synths aren’t DCO based, so it’s a lot tougher to nail the unintentional behavior of VCO’s. DCO synths are known to be stable and smooth, that’s part of why i think the S8 sounds so damn good
