I think you can tell if you're intangible by your hp bar, it disappears when you are intangible. Also yeah I think the change to star fragment is pretty terrible, I don't know if I'd ever buy it. They didn't say anything about implementing reroll protection either, right?

After rereading it, it's the extra spins you get in the beginning that are intangible so upgrading bladestorm should give you more i-frames with the extra spins. And yeah the star fragment is brutal, going to 4 from 8 on a red grimoire is rough, maybe down to 6 would feel alright. And no nothing with reroll protection, I think if they want to keep it to a low amount then reroll protection should really be considered
@@tazermaverik I normally try to have an idea going into a run to test out certain synergies and if I don’t feel like I’m playing into that idea then sometimes I’ll reset if I’m still in chapter 1. I’ll have a pied piper build in a few days that ends up being really weak but I stuck it out to the end
I so wish you were running ignite as your starting talent. I think at the end there you would have been crushing it(even more than you were) . Especially for clearing camps.
Glad to see I'm not the only one to get completely murked by their first updated Gargoyle Grimoire ;) They're NASTY now. I'm pretty sure the extra spins from bladestorm give you i-frames, so the last 3 spins will still be vulnerable no matter what. It's a little finicky to tell tho. Maybe intangibility should have a clearer visual indicator? Can you do an armour run? I've done a few attempts at getting all the pieces together, but havn't stuck the landing yet. Keep getting only 3 Dragon Hide, or no Green Armor etc. :P Last night i got 3 DH and 9 GA, when the rapid shaping gave me Attack number 5 instead of DH :(
Yeah the big Gargoyle doing his 5 hit combo now at like 80% health rather than 20% caught me off guard, they seem a lot beefier too. And yeah I think you're correct, I reread the patch notes and it would be the extra spins, so upgrading should give you more i-frames. I'll try an armor run again, and that hurts to hear, 4 dragon hide with all that green armor would be so statisfying to complete, rapid shaping never coming in clutch
@@nineblu yeah I like the change to it, probably not the best but it has a lot more viability now. Also a big fan of chapter 3 actually feeling threatening now
Yeah I had it on a geppetto run and I played bad but it seemed like it was taking forever, just did a piper run and it was ghosts and that seems like the only set of enemies it'll be possible with
