Plotted a route over to Blaenavon and beyond to stand on the site of the worlds first railway viaduct which was built in 1790 to span the valley so they could feed the iron works with iron ore and coal. I've wanted to do this ever since I saw the episode of Time Team in 2020 (?) when they were called in to try and locate it which they did, buried under 15 meters of waste from the industrial processes that were going on at the time. Built in 1790, disappeared off the face of the earth in 1815 - buried and lost until 2020.
