I'm getting a powerful Fitzgerald vibe from this and it's so aesthetically nostalgic that it's painful. Just like Dan said in one of the last episodes, their story is like something from Fitzgerald. When combined with Lana's sweet majestic voice, and the fact this is the song from the Great Gatsby, I feel like the world is magic and kind and beautiful again..
Maybe because Chuck and Blair's relationship has a poetic undertone. And Fitzgerald was a poet turned author thats why all his books have poetic influences that anyone can clearly decode.
Sorry I'm commenting again but just I really like this so much and especially love how "all that grace, all that body, all that face...makes me wanna party. He's my sun, he makes me shine... like diamonds" bit looks and it just fits together perfectly and gives me feels. It's like the lyrics were made for them and all the scenes match the song so well. I just really like it.
Your video is amazing, you succeeded in combining my favorite couple with my favorite song. The way you matched the words of the song and the scenes perfectly, especially the first necklace he gave her with the ring when he proposed, the prayer and the ''All that grace, all that body, all that face'' part. It was just so well matched and uniquely done.
And the ending where you have the 1x07 when Chair first started *sigh* I just really like it. It's a nice mixture of scenes from all 6 seasons and some nice parallels and it just shows their love and them over six years really well. It just reminds me of how come sunshine or come rain, they never stopped loving each other. Seriously I think I should stop because if I started naming everything I like about this video then I'd be here all day.

Firstly, this vid has aged incredibly well - brava👏🏾 I'd say it's a masterpiece but the liberal use of the word has washed away the true meaning of the word. And this is a true work of art. I love LDR and this song is pure gold. I've always been drawn to it's cinematic quality and it's reflection of Jay Gatsby's parties that were larger than life. And you managed to capture that grandeur from the very beginning with shots of the Manhattan skyline against the orchestral symphony, absolutely splendid! Then the tonal contrast of certain stills and scenes gives so much depth. Even the clever selection of clips synced to the lyrics of the song is so emotive. Magnifique ‼️👌
