@@aleynaglshh it’s both characters but it’s mainly Serena because it all started with boarding school and without Serena gossip girl wouldn’t have been created.
@@aleynaglshh Serena and Dan were meant to be the main characters. The whole reason Gossip Girl was made was so that Dan could find his way into Serena’s life because he was always in love with her. I read that Chuck and Blair were never meant to fall in love, but they had so much chemistry on set, that producers decided to add their love story into show. I’m so glad they did, though, because that’s the love story we’re all obsessed with 😍 Gossip Girl just wouldn’t be the same without it
I honestly think that the main characters were serena and dan in the first 2 seasons, but after that? Blair carried the whole show! Most episodes started with her dreams and we always saw what she felt and what she thought. She is the main character.
That just sound and reminds me so much of Ian and Mickey from Shameless, they are toxic and shit for a long time, but them they grow together and they really are meant to be in the end.
@@annjacy6285 And for me, Chuck, despite the fact that I started watching Gossip Girl ONLY because of Nate and Serena, because of their couple. And I really liked the actor playing Nate. I ship these two until I got hooked on Chuck and Blair... In fact, I'm only watching them now. And I agree with the commentator. I didn’t pay any attention to Chuck at all, I immediately understood what kind of character he was from the first scene with Jenny ... but then he became very prettier. Lol, she slept with him, stupid, after so much time and at the most inopportune moment. And why did Humphrey come to beat Chuck? .. She didn’t seem to be 16, and it was like a mutual desire? The only thing I have now reviewed once again is what Chuck did with the hotel and Jenny, how much he was guilty, and everything seems to have lost its meaning .. Very sad about this .. Very, very carried away by this couple, even started making a video

Yeah there was some toxicity there but when they stopped the will they won’t they and actually were just together, I think their love for each other made them better people.
i started crying, they were literally made for eachother, how did they not fall inlove on set they show to much chemistry (not me crying while typing this)
the fact that people are still making gossip girl edits even though the show ended 8 years ago really shows how good the show was and how many people still ship chuck and blair to this day hehe

Hannah De Freitas the only kind of disappointment was the ending🥴 I’m pretty sure there was a reason as to why Dan was appointed to be gossip girl even though it didn’t make that much sense but it would have been better if it was someone else, cause at the end it was like oh everyone is happy but we still don’t know who gossip girl is let’s just stick it to the writer, it felt a little bit rushed

Chuck and Blair are the only reason I completed the series ...Blair was always great even when she was against serena or when she was scheming..i never disliked her ..she was always my favourite
It's funny how we despised Chuck in the first few episodes but when he got with Blair he became so soft and loveable ❤❤ They're perfect for each other.
These two will always be my favorite couple of any show or movie I’ve ever watched. Their relationship was toxic, but also beautiful in its own way. They always made me cry and I was so happy when I found out they ended up together.

@@Hannah-rn7td However young you are, there needs to be consequences. If this happen in real life, he would've doing time in a jail cell. This show has a mostly young audience and is educating them from a young age that rapists shouldn't receive any punishment for their actions because they 'learned from his mistakes'. What he started could have escalated into actual rape and to allow him to have a happy ending is a bad move.
I'm literally crying.. this is the most beautiful toxic relationship ever. no other couple or plot will ever reach this level bc they will never be Blair Waldorf and Chuck Bass or Leighton Meester and Ed Westwick. Chuck&Blair will always have a special place in my heart.

I watch this show for them too. They are an in incredibly toxic couple, BUT what makes them ending up together work is that they hit rock bottom and then worked hard on themselves apart and become better people and THEN came back together again. I do so love watching this show because of them!
Crazy to think about that they weren’t even supposed to be together in the novels-we really have to thank the show writer for the most legendary couple of all time !!!

Because they are playing pretend and it is a lot of editing involved and cut scenes. But I do believe in chemistry and attraction. Ed has said that he liked her and he also prefers brunettes
I believe they didn’t get the end they deserved. I mean, they ended up together which I love, but it felt rushed, and they didn’t give us -the audience-, all the feelings we used to have when it came to Chuck and Blair. I hoped everything with them at the end to be more pasional, like their chasing. But I guess in this way it was easier for me to say goodbye to them.

Kendall Foreman their relationship was obviously toxic the amount of times they had falling outs/fights/arguments/break ups then coming right back to each other is toxic. but yeah in the end they were meant for each other & the love was more powerful than the toxicity

Who is here after Netflix removed Gossip Girl?It sucks that they removed Gossip Girl but not Riverdale?(no hate to Riverdale,season 1 and 2 were okay but season 3 and 4 are 💀☠)
i had started watching it last Friday and it got removed on Sunday but RIVERDALE isn’t removed because it’s still an ongoing show , next year marks 10 years to the season premiere of gossip girl, it makes perfect sense (no hate) just clairifying
Yes! My thoughts exactly. They were fit for each other before - I think this words said by Chuck in episode 3 (Poison Ivy) are a good example for it: "You don't get nearly enough credit for your wit". He appreciated her intelligence and charm from the very beginning.
When he asked her to marry her I never felt more happy they are literally the definition of meant to be!!! They deserve each other they’re perfect for each other gosh I love them so much I loved how chuck and Blair did everything for each other then that one episode when he apologizes for everything he’s done. Made me ship them even more!!!!
The series toyed with our feelings for 6 seasons straight the least they could’ve given us was a proper honeymoon, Chuck and Blair buying a house while she was pregnant with Henry, and more Henry content with BOTH his parents. The ending sucks ass.
exactlyyy idk exactly how last seasons of shows work but ten episodes? they could’ve done a few more they rushed so much into that 40 minutes and for what??? there were so many things thing could’ve expanded on in my opinion it wouldn’t have been dragging it out. they could’ve gotten at least 5 more episodes😑

when the show came out I was like 14 years old and I was never was able to tune in on time for new episodes, so I always missed them, and would have to wait until the weekends when they would play reruns! So finally in 2016, at 22 years old, I was able to watch the entire thing on Netflix and I was so obsessed, much more than I was in 2008. The show is timeless and gives me sooo much nostalgia 😢 to be honest I was so annoyed by how Serena fell in love with every guy that she came across, and the way she could be in love with so many different people in such a short amount of time baffled me. Contrary to that, Blair was more reserved with her love, and even though she dated several people, her heart only truly belonged to Chuck! Their type of love only exists in movies and TV shows.

At first, i didn't like this series but as the show continued the character Blair became so interesting to me that I literally finished all 6 seasons in a week .... it was just so crazy but I love Blair she was definitely the main character
Everytime I caught a glimpse of sadness in CHuck's eyes, I felt so heart broken because you can see through it that he really cares about Blair, and only her!
The fact that it's 2020 and I'm still unapologetically in love with these two manipulative, smart people and their toxic relationship lol.. Chuck really was right that he was the love of her life and everyone else was just a waste of time and Blair did stand by her words and stood by him through the worst thing he ever did and the worst thought he ever had.
I’m one of the many fans of Gossip girl that finished all the series just because Chuck and Blair. I just wanted them to end up together no matter what and to be endgame. I’m so glad they did because they were made for each other❤️ (I must say that Ed and Leighton have so much chemistry in real life!!)
