Her performance in The Blair Witch Project was nothing short of phenomenal. The acting from all three main actors is one reason why I believed it was real back in the day. Very raw. Nothing about it felt forced or staged at all. Her apology scene was absolutely heartbreaking. The way she was crying and her eyes darting around at random noises outside the tent. So terrified she's almost insane with fear. Glad to see her still getting acknowledged and appreciation for it.

I love that woman. The blood curdling screams at the end of the film has imprinted my brain since 1999. Heather Donahue reigns as my scream queen.

Heather aka Rei, is such a gem. A phenomenal actor and a bold independent woman. I only wish her experience post production could have been celebrated as it should have been. I would love to see her make a comeback to film one day, but understand that it may never happen; and for commendable reasons. Rei, you will always be a Queen.

She's such a refreshing and real person and actress, cool interview. This movie has stuck with me since I saw it when I was 12 or so and she was a main part of the film's lasting legacy.

6:00 in case anyone else is curious, when a film camera loses registration, it means the film fell off the registration pins, so it's out of allignment and can damage the film and won't capture the image properly

Greatest Scream Queen after Marylin Burns. She has a masculine, aggressive intellect (animus) like a Judy Davis and both are cute as a button. Should've been used in a pile of movies from 2000 to now. OTOH, she has the honor of being in a classic that effectively closed out the analog 20th century just as THE MATRIX (which opened same year) ushered in the digital age with its digital rain. A trio, no script, 16mm camera, quarter-billion at the Box Office? Insane.

This film was really bad I rented the movie from blockbuster’s put it on I thought I was watching the documentary on the film then it ended, I phoned my friend who saw it already I said I think they gave me the wrong movie she asked me what it was about I told her she started laughing at me and said that was the movie. I was bored out of my head it was the worst horror I have ever seen even my kids who love horror movies fell asleep bored stiff , never again rubbish really rubbish

Hollywood absolutely dropped the ball in not implementing Heather in more roles beyond that film. She was grounded. Down to earth. Relatable .unpretentious Someone you could have a beer with but also someone who you can identify with. Not some manufactured cookie cutter product. She deserves better anyway. Hollywood sucks now
