So take a RB who is 5’7” and had one of the worst elusive ratings in the country behind the worst graded run blocking? Gotta be logical and not think because Harbaugh is there
@@newspiceoveroldspice454well, one running backs are typically shorter players ranging from 5'6 - 6'0. Anywheres between there is where you'd find most running backs to be at height wise. So he is perfect running back size. Blocking can be taught in the pros. The main ones who need to block well are the o linemen, every player needs to be able to block. It's also a philosophy in coaching, the coach needs to stress these points in the game and the player needs to practice and get better. Not saying he is good at blocking, but his all around game is NFL caliber. You see it in the film
Harbaugh will get that line fixed. Plus you can bet on a lot of 2 and 3 tight end sets which is why they got Dissly and Hurst. Also there will be a fullback. Think scheme, Chargers tried to run the ball out of 3 receiver sets all the time, that’s why they struggled.
@beastarts1095 I'm not saying he's going to be as good as what Ray Rice, but Corum can definitely break tackles. Rarely did he go down on first contact while at Michigan and when he did, he would drive guys 3 or 4 yards downfield.
Blake Corum is an agile back who has the potential to be a great player. He is a natural back with instinctive ability. Also, he has the vision, physicality, contact balance and burst as an elusive cutting back. His ball security ability is also a key part of his game as he barely fumbles.
great vision & burst. stays with his blockers & uses whatever blocks he can get down field. not the fastest but good moves/ quickness. I don’t watch college ball so only speakin on the tape. next D.Sproles ?
If the bears pick him I'd be happy with it. Great all around back. Falls forward, agile, can catch out the backfield, patient runner, has good game speed, strong, reliable. All good traits. Excited to see what he does at the next level
God willing, this amazing young Man finds his way to Green Bay... Jacobs and this Man in the same backfield!!?? FORGET ABOUT!!!! With all the other weapons on offense!! OMG!!!! SMDH #SUPERBOWL #GoPackGo
Idk if he’s as fast but he has way better balance off contact. Might be Kyren going against pros. But this Kid going in the 5th or 6th would be a great pick up by any team.
He traded speed for power. His freshman and sophomore years he was much faster. Once his junior year started you could tell he got stronger but it was obvious he lost a step. He's still a 4.52 40 which isn't blazing but isn't slow either.
I mean he looks good but it's hard to know how good with that insane offensive line, they look like the cowboys line years ago with Zeke Elliott when they just destroyed the defense
