I think the scary mental health issues start to come when athletes retire and lose their identity. That’s when the help is needed the most but starting therapy whilst in the game and being open to it in retirement is a great tool to have.

The dark side of pro sports we don’t see…the injuries and peds/meds and pain these guys go through. Great looking guy but look at my man’s hairline compared to his debut days. The body will eventually say F U to the abuse it’s put through
