Actually, the true, true love whether they sing together or talk about each other is Tim McGraw and his gorgeous wife, Faith Hill. The way they look at one another when they sing together is magical. You can see the true love in their eyes. They have a forever love like no other. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

1999 and 2014 are references to the passing of time and each other’s prime. In 1999 she was at her peak before Gavin caused so much damage. She wrote the whole song as a solo song where she’s singing it to Blake. The 2014 line was to be sung TO him before they decided to do it as a duet and he sang it to her instead. She’s using that date 2014 because that was HIS prime and when she first knew he existed in the world. She’s simply reassuring him and saying you are still an attractive man. (Except now that it’s a duet Blake is singing the line to her)

@@yamammiwammi she wasn't wrong when she said she's like Dory from Finding Nemo in this interview. She does forget EVERYTHING. Like when she and Blake were watching the super bowl halftime show and she went: '... I think I played that but I'm not sure' so Blake googled it and that's how he found out she's done the halftime show. Also on The Voice, where she consistently never listed her own achievements. She was so impressed with her fellow coaches' achievements, and it never even occured to her she achieved those same things. Most of the time she's clueless. It's always been this way, it's why she struggled in school. Also explains why she was so vulnerable to her ex's lies and manipulation: it's incredibly easy to make her doubt herself, her own recollection of things, and make her feel small. It's weird when you look at it rationally. Blake is very gentle about it, whenever she's kinda lost because of the way her brain is wired, and I think that's exactly what she needs.

I think there are a lot of ex-fans who kept saying ND left ska, got more pop, or started hating on ND through the years. I mean, if you hear that long enough, you start believing it.

@@user-jk5ur9dh5hyeah but they left ska and went pop years prior to still being great. Rock steady is extremely pop/commercial and I think it was a great period for them. I see a lot more support or pleas for ND than solo Gwen stuff, so idk. 🤷🏼‍♂️
