One of Blake's best vocals, and covering a great southern rock song. You don't always get to see it from his music, but the dude can really sing. And that's coming from someone who mostly listens to metal and r&b.
One of my favorite songs and I love Blake but wasn't certain if he could pull it off. Wow! He is more talented then he gets credit for. That was frickin awesome!!!

Blake when I saw this.....I was like nooooo!!!!! This song seems like it was written for my Mom. I sure miss her so I was afraid for the let down..I mean Black Crowes rocked it! Blake I bow my head! Thanks for singing it with so much heart!

I was surprised that he really did such a good job, and he really put in what emotions it takes to sing this song so I'm not a real fan of country music but I did learn to like some red dirt country and I liked Blake Shelton so I decided to listen glad I did .
Wow, just wow.....Blake that was so awesome, just perfect, the stripped back version, wish you would record this on your next Album release, it would surely be a #1 hit on all charts....could listen to this over and over and never tire of hearing it, blown me away
WOW. this is my all time favorite song and he just kicked it's ass. I LOVE this rendition!!! I can't even say how scared I was to listen to it, but DAMN!!! This makes me believe that if you have talent and heart you can sing just about anything.
I listen to all types of music depending on my mood, mostly rock and country. Love this song, never heard Blake sing it tho till now. Simply amazing! Performances like this takes me back to a simpler time and makes me miss MTV unplugged even more.
Wow he did an amazing job! I love the original but it is always nice to hear someone else's twist on a song and it still sounded like the original with a little country twist and it was beautiful!
Chris Robinson is absolutely impossible to beat. BUT I like Blake's cover just as much! Wish the 2 of them would get together & do some kind of harmony/counterpoint duet of this song -- a long time favorite of mine and CLEARLY of so many other people too.

Love the cross over for Blake. Never knew he covered this. It really show cased his range and the grit to his voice. Also showed a more serious side to his guitar playing. Loved his rendition. So glad I came upon it!
