Wow tha pedal steel guitar on this is just phenomenal! Granted I don't listen to much country but I've never heard anything as great as this. It sneaks in under the radar, basically playing a "pad" part, kind of filling the role ordinarily done with strings. From there it steadily builds in intensity and excitement. At first it just adds a few subtle fills, then during verse 2 it starts with some awesome tasty fills, then at the end it really steps it up with a loud front and center volume, some talking effects, call and respsonse, screaming high notes and downward swoops and some funky syncopation. That guy has some serious talent and it's all so smooth you don't even notice it.

I used to love this song when it came out. I had never seen the video until now, and his facial expressions are absolutely hilarious! I also noticed in this video, all the city slickers are holding coffee cups with a black lid, white cup, and that starbucks brown thing around it, funny! The mustang driver loses his before giving the finger, the girl with the short blonde hair in the bar is holding one, the Mercedes Benz driver throws his, the little girl at the dentists office takes a drink after Blake says something to her.

Suddenly, a dude in some foreign car with a major road rage attitude pulled up next to me. He was going crazy, calling the cops, and flipping me off. He even started fighting at me. I was so scared! Luckily, the cops came in the nick of time and arrested him. He got all handcuffed and locked in the cell. What a crazy experience. “Some Beach Somewhere” by Blake Shelton is the perfect song to listen to while envisioning yourself relaxing on the beach and forgetting all your troubles. I always picture myself on some beach somewhere with a cold margarita in my hand, the warm breeze blowing through my hair, and the sound of the waves crashing on the shore. I don’t care if it’s the Caribbean, Florida, Mexico, or even just the Jersey Shore. I’ll take it. This song is great. The video makes it even better. I’ve been circling the parking lot forever trying to find a spot. Just as I’m about to give up, I hear Rosanne Cash singing “Seven Year Ache” on the radio. Suddenly, a police officer pulls up next to me and steps out of his car. He has his gun drawn and looks ready for anything. Another officer arrives and they arrest a guy. I didn’t even see what happened! I love this song. My tooth is fixed and the crazy guy is behind bars.
