Do you have a Patreon account? I would like to donate for your project and if possible, to be able to download the complete videos, excellent work my friend,
I think I will try to do a different part of this music video, probably 17seconds into the official one... Probably would have been better + I just recently noticed comments asking the stuff I use: You will need a decent rig to get things done relatively fast otherwise it's a painfully slow process Adobe Suite Hybrid Most of the AI I use is made by Jason Antic (he also created Deoldify) if you wanna google and find the best software for yourself, Also if you understand python it might be worth your while to check out TecoGAN which recently made a leap and if done correctly could yield great results. You might be able to get ESRGAN to give nice results however you will have to train some models for yourself as it is primarily used for either video games or manga... Easier version of TecoGAN: This is still difficult but you might find it easier to use if you don't know much coding - colab.research.google.com/drive/1arRAJUPBC3a3l2iGghbs3CqDjdD1IQ6y?usp=sharing Do some research into GAN (Generative Adversarial Networks)
Pretty good stuff. Do you take personal requests? I have this old Avi video low resolution, need to upscale it and add the magic stuff you use to clean the clip up. It's a short 4 minute clip.
@@SRC267 Unfortunately not because I always feel bad if I say yes and then can't get it to a high standard for whatever reason :( plus I don't have a whole lot of free time at the moment due to IRL stuff and doing these videos 😞 my apologies
You said "decent rig", but as far as I've seen you mostly need to have an nVidia GPU (understandable as it's mostly based on Tensorflow tech). Right now I only have a GTX1060 (no plan for upgrading, 2019 R5 3600 rig - waiting to see RDNA2). Do you think this is enough for renovating old movies/documentaries not to 4K but just 1080p at a reasonable pace? Too bad this AI stuff is so nVidia-GPU-bound :( My Ryzen is idle most of the time while the GPU is screaming for help. I've been reading a few articles about that, and I still need to find some time to test (just made a little render with DAINAPP so far, and tried some ffmpeg scripting with mediocre result imho). Anyway, thanks for your input!
I tried out the tecogan ai, but really couldn't get it to work. Its especially hard when you basically dont known anything about python or coding. But might try again another time.
