Fun fact: In the US, in certain states, you still can purchase full-auto "machine guns", they do require a $200 tax stamp as you said, but the 1968 law prevented any new machine guns from being imported into the US for civilian use, and then 1986 prevented new machine gun receivers from being manufactured with fresh registration. What that means is no new machine guns in the US can be registered to be sold to civilians. Cops, military, private mercs, and gun dealers can still buy them relatively freely. Old stock however can be sold within those certain states, but due to no new ones being made, their value has skyrocketed. An Ingram M10 can fetch $10,000 at minimum, while an M16 or M4 can be $25k to $30k. There are very few exceptions like obscure heavy machine guns that fire ammunition not made anymore, those could theroetically be gotten for under $10k.
Another fun fact: The M10 and M11 were not meant to be used without the suppressor, at least when it can be used. Hence why the suppressor is gigantic and is thicker on the half closest to the gun; that's your foregrip! It's thicker to shield the user from heat build up in the suppressor. Of course, never took off because it's usage was very niche: covert operations where you needed one thing, and one thing per mag, very, very dead.
@Irishshootingchannel He didn't say you can purchase a Mac 10 for $25k. Last week I just bought a once fired Mac 10 manufactured in 1972 caliber .45 ACP and original owner kept it in his gun safe. I got it for $11k plus tax stamp fees and it got approved after 1 day. What a time to be alive. Here in the U.S. they are considered entry level machine guns a.k.a. shitboxes. You'll see them commonly sold for.$15k nowadays.
I have the M10 and with the right upper it is an extremely comfortable firearm in full auto. I have the 72 round drums. We also have our bumpstock rights back.
Did my comment get deleted? I said I put the MAC-10 and MAC-11 in the same category as the Desert Eagle and Stechkin APS in that it's probably not a great idea but I'm glad it exists because of how ridiculous it is.
That's pretty much what I mean. It's a terrible waste of ammo but I find it hilarious that someone actually went through the trouble to produce a gun that was that impractical.
The rate of fire is 1800 RPM in 380acp when using a suppressor. The M11-A1 380acp is very nice conceal carry handgun, I use a HK MP5K single point harness without a wire stock. Fits perfect for right hand draw with a 32-round magazine in a Carhartt jacket's inside left pocket. One thing that is odd with yours is that the front sight ears don't have the hole on each side... Gives the 380acp away as a replica👀😊. Do yinz have real ones like we do for lawful private personal citizens to conceal carry when they are out and about in public?
Did you cover the bolt safety? Rotating the cocking handle 90 degrees locks it in place. When engaged it blocks the view through the sights as a visual reminder .
I don't think this model has that feature. The safety as mentioned is just a sliding switch fire and safe on this. As mentioned it is only a blank firing reproduction so there might be features on the live model that the repro doesn't have.
I can see they would have no practical military use....one pull of the trigger and its all gone!!...I reckon I always associate this type of weapon with gang 'drive by' shooting....good video m8😊😊😊
Remove the breach that the model gun comes with and ask an engineering works to mill you the same thing in an aluminium sufficiently strong to bear the pressure of the 9mm PAK. Make sure you have your vent hole at the front. Put a fixed firing pin on the bolt face and ad heavier main spring

@@Irishpewtuber - ah! Sorry, I thought these were off ticket. The UK had loads of blank firing sten guns being sold a decade or so ago that were non-ticket, and basically just a sten with a top venting blocked barrel and a soft recoil spring. I thought Irish guns laws were more lenient than the UK for once, but of course not.
