OMG! Gayle, I’m watching this late at night as in nearly midnight and nearly had kittens when I heard your cleaning lady! I’ve got headphones on and thought the noise was coming from outside, the scary thing is we live in a detached house in the countryside of Kent in the U.K., so I knew it couldn’t be neighbors. Lol! I had to take the headphones off to make sure it wasn’t coming from outside! I’m such a div! Lol😂😂😂

Gayle, you can get 4 5x7 pieces out of a 12x12 if you are careful with your cuts. I do this when cutting ATCs because you get 4 out of each 5x7. Place your paper at the 7 inch mark, and only cut down 7 inches. Rotate 90 degrees and repeat. Repeat until you are left with 4 panels and a small 2x2 piece from the middle.

Loving you revisiting making pockets, belly bands, tags, etc. Gayle! Now as I follow, I will put one of each in my idea journal for reference when the old brain is stuck on what to make! Please keep them coming, wonderful inspiration for all!🥰🇨🇦

Oh, Gayle! By using your scoreboard, you can get 4 of the 5X7s out of a 12X12 page. Score down the 5" to 7", turn once, do the same, turn again, repeat, and a final turn. You'll wind up with four 5X7 and a 1^ square in the middle. I use this when making ATCs. It yields 16 ATC sized papers. That 1" square can be used for clusters. Try it sometime! Love these ideas! TFS!

Hi, Gayle. This was a wonderful video. The dreaded white pages drive me nuts, and this was super helpful. I apologize for not commenting as much but I have discovered how to watch you on my television but haven't discovered how to discover a way to get RU-vid to let me like or comment. I have instructions, but haven't quite worked it out yet. Help is on the way, so don't give up on me. Also, I don't see anything that would allow the extra thank you like thing on my tablet. Yes, I am not computer literate. Anyway, I haven't missed a video and have loved them all--especially this one.

Great ideas! I was thinking you don't really even need a focal point yet, since so many digital kits come with die cuts etc. You could add that part once you've chosen a journal for them.
