In the novel there is no time jump and a-nueng is not that childish but i think the writers made her that way for us to see the growth once they do the time jump. In the novel she is more mature and straight forward. Nothing happens between them until the first year of college. In the novel, a-nueng tells her all the time that she loves her but she is still a kid so she pushes her away, until she becomes 18 and changes her appearence and becomes more mature and then she falls in love. Nothing happens between them until she is grown up. Also, between them there is a part of protection apart from love, she wants to protect her in the novel even before she falls in love, so I think they want to show how protective she is of her

Context:- BLANK belongs to the same universe as GAP. While GAP focuses on the story of the third child of the family, which is Khun Sam, BLANK focuses on the story of the first child which is Khun Nueng. Hence, the relation between the characters can be understood better after we have seen GAP. This book and series deals with the problem that occurs between the grandmother and Khun Nueng. It also deals with problems that occurs because of the 16 year old age gap between Khun Nueng and her lover. The second couple of this series are none other than Khun Sam and Mon itself.

So excited for this series as i watched the first episode and i really get the vibe now cause despite being 18, neung is acting like a kid because of her trauma and that's why people are saying she shouldn't be acting this way or they should make her mature atleast but what they don't understand is her acting childishly is the part of the plot

Blank is the story of the elder sister of sam from GAP THE SERIES! And the age gap of the main couple is the biggest problem of this whole story.
