Kinda? I mean, weight is more about how much shit you have on you anyways. Though to be fair, I usually use more than 4 periapt's. Not sure why people don't bring over 70 for the fight, just for the kicks.
Well now... Makes me realize what a plebian I was playing my Mystic Knight, and having a genuine, hard time with this fool, whereas you simply make it rain... I'm in the wrong line of work, it seems... Oh well. Masterworks all, can't go wrong.
+DrBob How to get Berserk Armor (White Hawk and Black Swordsman) early: 1. Power grind 1-10 as mage 2. Change into Magick Archer 3. Acquire/Invest in Demon Periapts 4. Acquire Ricochet Seeker/Riveting Blast/Magickal Gleam 5. Populate party with female tanks 6. Take quest from dirty old man in Ancient Quarry 7. ??? 8. HAI YAI FORCES It's not as dirty as 'NG+ BLAST ARROWS MAN'
+NDenizen Blast Arrows and magical talismans are expensive :^) Not everyone has looted 500 monster caves full of gold to fund their Assault Rifle Arrows.
It's clear that a single player game doesn't need actual balancing, its up to the player, this is enjoyable to do. same with shooting grigori with a finger of death, clearly intended but again, single player game so It's up to you to do it or not.
+Lennic Players aim to win and thus will usually choose the most simple and effective option to beat the game. If you can easily use an OP weapon to get rid of a boss, most will do it even if it ruins the game for you. That's why devs prevent that from happening by balancing the game. You can't give overpowered weapons to the player and then blame him when he complains that the game is too easy, he's using the tool you gave him after all. So no, a single player game need actual balancing as much as a multiplayer one.
Knoloaify and yet I never see anyone use maker's finger on grigori unless farming NG+ cycles for quick dragonforge, at that point you're speedrunning and breaking the game anyways.
+Lennic More enjoyable would be doing this without the boss dying in a few hits. If the player has to restraint himself to compensate for exploits, whether they are intentional or not, the design is broken and ultimately not very great to play; I don't really want to be concerned about breaking the game with the hopes of not spoiling what I expect to be a solid playthrough. Also it feels cheap when you use exploits, just like cheating, because it is not mastery, as it doesn't require any skill, neither does a total grasp of the game mean you can just wipe your ass with it. I don't blame the player for taking advantage of what they got , though, this is totally on the developer'.
+Kamikaze Chinaman they give you an easy way to farm bosses, you can look up online how to break most games anyways today, if most people care they will break a game to complete something. Besides, you can play DD:DA on easy and most plebs will do this and will NEVER even be bothered to google "how to cheese X or Y" because they simply don't die and just wail on it, also using consumables to enhance damage and using heavy-as-fuck arrows in conjuction with a specific move on one specific vocation is going pretty far out of the way. again 4x periapth stacking is intended, as it wasn't patched out with dark arisen and was in the original game, even though they nerfed alot of the augments and other stuff. Before I looked up stuff online around my 3-4th playthrough I thought periapths only worked once, since its a buff icon and stuff, for myself speaking, I have only used 4x periapths on Death because he is plain bullshit and the devs wanted you to RUN away from that guy instead of fight it, besides a horribly boring fight. tldr: This specific game has easy normal and hard, you already decide how you play it and how hard you want it from minute 0:00, In-game you can go further into this.
Miike Lacerda I farmed using this method too. I said first time; the only thing you disappointed me with is your reading comprehension. If you do this your first time, you are robbing yourself of one of the best experiences in the DLC, simple as that.
This game strong is really the variety on play. Sure you can cheese it when you farm mats or what not. But every now and then you may feel like doing suboptimal techniques for the cinematic experience or just because it's fun like that.
+Longrat In this game, the job you pick affects how your stats lvl up. For a magic maxed archer you'd go lvls 1-10 mage and lvls 11-200 sorcerer to minmax you magic stat. It sucks variety-wise but it's effective. The problem is you'll spend 100 hours just to spend your first hour using a magic archer to maximum effectiveness.
Longrat Honestly, you have nothing to worry about. If you really wanted to start minmaxing your most powerful archer ever, stick to assassin iirc (haven't played in a year+). Otherwise, just have fun and just use blast arrows if you wanna nuke stuff w/little to no challenge, like in the vid.
Magic Archer is just the most powerful class to play as on Bitterblack Isle because most enemies are weak to magic. Plus its one of the only classes that can effectively kill Death.
This is basically the only way Striders and Rangers are useful, which is kind of annoying, you have to put a lot of money towards special arrows. or just blast arrows, really.
lol, i finally beat the awakaned form of this guy like 3 months ago, and it wasnt easy lol, but i didnt use a single blast arrow, immqa cheese it to farm its stuff lol
Takes about 5~7 mins if you know what you're doing and depending on if you screw up. This is how I farm lvl 3 items and transfer them from account to account haha
