I got one of these last June for my school metal shop, we plan on using it along with our laser to engrave the "alumni" walkway bricks. I used black sealant on everything, when I hooked up the vac it created enough of a suction that the gloves were standing straight out. Awesome job with the video, definitely sold me and wanted to get another one. ;-) Be well.

Hi Phil, over here in the UK our company installs the biggest version of the machine and has done for some 10years or so. The biggest issue is the gloves they are terrible, get yourself some all rubber ones for blast cabinets, its a massive improvement on wear and hand fatigue. Great video as always, keep em coming 👏 👍

Great job on the video Phil. I would have loved to have seen it in action. I guess I'll have to wait. Kind of jealous, that's much nicer than the cabinet I have. This one addresses all the things I don't like about mine. Side note... did you know the little dude in my logo is sandblasting? Sandblasting a logo on a Yeti was my first video as "ManCrafting"...

HI, I would like to call you by name; but haven't heard it? Watched your video on this blast cabinet about 8 - 12 months ago and you hooked me, I am about ready to pull the trigger on one, I also watched your video as you made a new baffle to redirect vacuum suction! "Question" Did you throw away that template?? Would you consider making another baffle that I could buy from you? I don"t have the equipment you have to do it. I work on and do restorations on old Harley's and would like to set my new blast cabinet up correctly the first time. Jim

I have the same unit and feel that the thick seal at the top of the door will spring the hinge. Your thoughts

I have not had that issue. In fact over time the seal around the door has settled down quite a bit. Recently I was thinking I might want to replace it.

Did you use an silicon during the assembly? Appreciate the video. It helped a lot preparing for purchase and assembly.

Thank you! Stoked to hear it was helpful. Yes I siliconed every joint with a clear sealer. It’s held up well and kept the cabinet tight and leak free.

is the bottom of the hopper high enough off the floor to fit a 5 gal bucket under it to drain the media?

Just high enough to squeeze it under there. If you check out my upgrade video I actually put the cabinet on wheels and it’s much easier to deal with all around in that configuration

Loved the video and put mine together the same way. It’s true, you can do this on your own. Only a couple of times where I might have needed help, but figured it out. Does anyone know where you can get that adapter for the vacuum that mounts in the back?

Stephen Page Thank you. It’s been a solid performer in the HoC. What adapter were you talking about for the vacuum? Everything I used in the video was part of the vacuum kit. I didn’t buy any additional parts or pieces.
