It's because the symbol is used for the mockery of the cross, and is often used as a satanic symbol. Satanism has lots of different symbols and beliefs as far as I know.

Odderist unknown XXI dude. Everyone knows that’s a pokemon, yes pokemon is owned by Nintendo HOWEVER that Litten, Leviathan is their pokemon OC, hence, THEIR original character. That’s like saying the main character you make on Fallout or Skyrim doesn’t belong to you and isn’t your OC because technically they’re in the game’s universe.
