BLAST FROM THE PAST! SKEETER ZX20 REVIEW (WOW!) 

I bought this boat from Chuck!!! It’s awesome

Just so you know they will still seperate at the transom. I got a new to me 2014 fx20 and I always ck the rub rail for backed out screws and alot I mean a lot were on last hold on thread . I put blue lock and a thin seal of clear marine grade silicone then put the rail back on. Took the rail off and did whole boat. Now all is wonderful. Love the skeeter and all boats rails will loosen over time

Anybody out there running a zx20? What have your experiences been like?

I have the same skeeter with a 2017 merc 250 with a lowrance ghost trolling motor 3 lowrance units 2 12 up front and one at the console. I did have the boat wrapped in vinyl this year. I installed new seat at the console and I get a really good ride at full wide open gas guzzling speeds. I competed in a bass open on lake Champlain last month and I was very surprised how many people had boats with 2 units no poles and engines that gave off that good old 2 stroke smoke show. I have learned that the skeeter slap is not as bad with air cushion seat. Before this boat I was doing it in a 97 lowe roughneck with a 9.9 evinrude omc on the back. Covid kept my business booming as a contractor building new houses left and right . overall a very solid boat in my opinion.

You know about my 1999 zx210c with 2019 225yamaha sho. You set the engine up correctly. I have since added a ultrex and 2 lowrance 12" depth finders. One at console and one at bow. Love the wireless connection between them. Last boat ill own with the upgrades.

What do you think about a 98 skeeter zx202c with a vmax on the back. Boats in excellent condition just don’t know much about the old skeeters and the vmax.

I have a 2018 zx250 it cost 57000 and I think it’s awesome good ride and sits still in high wind great fishing boat with a great ride

The boat does have 2 poles on it... There's also a zx200 on BBC that's setup pretty nice for a little cheaper.

It has two poles. I owned a zx200, the top cap separated from the hull. It went back to the factory for warranty work. Came back with new cap, and carpet. Great boat, but awful on Erie.
