Today I review some of my learnings from Day 1, and go on to finish wiring the BLASTER LED and the TOGGLE SWITCH that switches the lightsaber from lightsaber to blaster mode, and vice versa.
Apologies for the abrupt ending there... I'm filming with 2 cameras, both in 4K, and the memory cards max out at about 45-50 minutes. So that's what happened.
Apologies also for not being able to post these more often. My computer is actually running out of storage space!! Every 45-50 minute session costs about 500 GB's, lol. So when the cards fill up, I have to import them into my computer (which takes time). By the time they're done importing, it's late and I'm too tired to continue, so.. sorry :(

Try using the side of your soldering iron to shrink the heat shrink, makes it a lot easier, and makes sure you shrink the whole thing

General tip: If you twist your wires around each other you may find it easier to feed them through confined spaces in your hilt. It makes multiple wires feed like a single wire and they'll all stay together without having to tape or heat shrink them. You'll end up with less spaghetti when you're done and may even reduce EM noise when done with the positive and negative wires. Good luck with the rest of your build.
