This story makes me love Yu's english voice acting more, really sounds like he is trying to convince himself at first and really were surprised when the Judge eat Noel's cooking from then on.
Also: Neptune: ...Ahahaha... for once... this protagonist is NOT hungry for pudding today... Beerus: ...I'm with you there, little goddess. That... whatever they made.... would knock me out before I can think of Hakai, let alone use it.... I... actually feel sorry for these two who had to be judges...

I find the funniest thing about this is that Yukiko and Chie actually made passable food for once. That's funny when you remember that their cooking once incapacitated a ghost and an avatar of death.
To be fair Chie and Yukiko have made food that looks edible, and is edible before it's just so rare of an occurrence that it seems like a miracle whenever they do make something edible.
@@derrickhaggard I remember at the end of Persona 4, the girls made a cake that actually tasted good. Because Naoto was involved in the cooking. Though I think that wasn't because Naoto is the brains of the group, it's more like Naoto understands that cooking doesn't involve throwing random ingredients together and hoping for the best. And even then, Naoto states that they had to redo the cake a few times too.
@@derrickhaggard Chie's best creation was some chocolate that was misshapen but managed to be only mildly unpleasant. Yukiko's best creation was an omelet that managed to have no taste.

You'd think that after the near-disaster that occurred when Linne let her hunger convince her to go to one of Hilda's parties in Waldstein's Chronicle Mode she wouldn't fall into a trap like this again; and yet...
When I got to this chapter and heard Cook-off, I immediately thought "Noel has to be in this". Then when they said they were making pudding, I immediately thought of Es. 😂
13:24: ASTRAL FINISH I'd expect nothing less from Noel's infamous Death Dinner, a cooking so terrific it's classified as an astral finish and was used as punishment for misbehaviour at the NOL military academy
Somehow I doubt the cops would believe Noel's Death Dinner Type: Pudding Ala Mode would classify was a murder weapon, and would probably taste it themselves to see if you were telling the truth.

@@Gamesmarts194 Her taste was modified after becoming a woman. She basically can taste feelings of people, that means 97% of food is inedible for her, but Noel's is because of how much feeling she pour in when cooking.

Agreed I mean Mystery Food X is bad enough on it's own I don't even think my stomach can even handle thinking about what would happen if someone was stupid enough to eat a fusion of Mystery Food X, and the Death Dinner.
I want to and will probably try. It will take a while though Give me several days and I'm sure I'll have it by the end of the weekend (I keep changing this part so I'm just gonna say it's taking a crap ton of time..I'm still in rough animation..with only 4 minutes and almost 6,000 frames out of over 24,000. So I'm just gonna say expect this animation to be done by early or early mid december(before Christmas week)..sorry I thought it wouldnt take this long, but I'm trying make it a decent quality animation for you guys)

At the beginning, it looked like Naoto K. was trying to make a BlazBlue style decision to enter and watch the event at Kitchen Stadium, but it cut to him being like 'never mind' instead. Who else thinks there was supposed to be a branching path here?
Mystery food X and a literal poison. I mean mystery food X on their peak can instantly kill a FOE, while the food Noel at her peak can create a blast that can endanger blazblue cast. And by peak i mean mixing them up with their own kind.

Not a poison I mean there are time that yukiko persona character somehow manage to make a food that didn't have any taste despite it should be anything but that and Noel can only cook poison Oh i leave B to your imagination
Uh eating either Mystery Food X or Death Dinner that's a lose-lose situation in my eyes for obvious reasons. I'm with Yoskue welp at least we die together..
@@kirinbobarcana Like I said eating either Mystery Food X or Death Dinner is a lose-lose situation cause with Mystery Food X you'll be knocked unconscious for a few hours to possibly a day, and on the other hand we have the Death Dinner in which you'll be killed or put in a near-death state due to how disgusting and awful it is. But I only dread at the thought of what a fusion of Mystery Food X and Death Dinner would taste like.

Technically she can't taste her food due to her artificial body which means 10 times out of 10 Noel is blind to the fact her cooking is so-god awful, and disgusting that it literally puts most individuals who eat the Death Dinners including Hakumen, Nine, and Jubei into a near-death state I mean it's so bad that her, Makoto, and Tsubaki's instructors during their time at the NOL boot camp actually made eating a Death Dinner a punishment for severe misconduct. The only one who can eat a Death Dinner and survive along with actually liking it is Mai and that's only due to her unique stomach/taste buds everyone else ends up knocked out and in a near-death state.
Yep Noel is just naturally awful at cooking the fact her artificial body means she can't taste her cooking makes it even worse. Because as I mentioned Noel's artificial body means she can't taste-test her cooking which means 10 times out of 10 Noel is blind and oblivious to fact her cooking is so god awful, and disgusting that it literally puts 98% of the cast of Blazblue into a near-death state, the only one besides Noel who can actually eat a whole Death Dinner survive, and actually like it is Mai and that's only due to Mai's unique taste buds/stomach.
Man I wished we could see cutscenes on what's happening. I'd like to see them cooking the puddin and the judges getting sick. Or at the very least, had a fight scene.

@@avas1wingedangel oh my gosh that would be freaking hilarious with the king's game one, that would honestly let me laugh my freaking ass off, and with Marie's poem, if they continue with adding the characters considering there are 70+ characters data mined into this game, I'm hoping the rest of the ultimax characters are in there and we can get some funny Marie intros and outros with her poems
I'm going to be brutally honest here, Gordon Ramsay would not approve of this. He would shut this down in a heartbeat. Roasts would have been thrown at Chie, Yukiko, and Noel. I have to agree with Yu and Yosuke. I have not tasted that pudding, but judging by their reactions, I'm not sure I want to. Also, I am so glad that Naoto Kurogane was not there to taste that abomination.
I have to say, out of all the running gags in Blazblue, Noel's cooking gag is my least favorite. It's just so annoying when she can't taste any of her own cooking like any chef does, let alone take a hint of what happens when someone else tastes her cooking. And it's always the same thing. Mai just makes it worse somehow...
To Noel's benefit Mai is the only one who can not only survive the Death Dinner, but actually, and earnestly loves it. I mean in the chapter the only reason why Noel and Makoto won the cooking challenge was due to Mai's unique stomach. Due to Death Dinner: Type Pudding Ala Mode putting Linne, and Es in a near-death state.
