I hate being a fan of characters like Q and Sodom surrounded by people asking for the same exact character every game regardless of whether or not they already made it to a game in recent memory because it just feels impossible with the amount of screeching from others for that to ever happen. Don't get me wrong I'd love characters like C.Viper and Dudley too but like what's the point if I know they'll be coming regardless on popularity alone. And the argument "those characters are boring/lame" is so annoying cause I used to think Deejay was lame. They made him fun and absolutely viable and different enough from Guile in this game. So that narrative is flawed. I'd love to see characters like that or Hakan in a new light but all people can think is "Oooo this character was fun and good and that game so they have to be fun and good in this game! 🤓"
It brings me SO MUCH JOY to see how many people are using modern controls. For all the strays it catches on Twitter, it’s an incredible accessibility option and myself (and many other players) wouldn’t have found the game without it!
i really hope the cyrax change doesn't get undone, there's so many other cheap assists in the game now that i don't think it's as broken and it was a fun assist that helped a lot of weak characters
I agree with your assessment...just missing a few big names. Sagat and Claw. I think those two will obviously make a comeback. Possibly Fei Long...not sure why he has been MIA (and don't give me that bs about Bruce Lee's family not wishing Bruce's likeness used in media...that has been debunked). And, of course, somewhere done the line...Menat. I think she's a shoe in as far as DLC is concerned.
I love this. They found a way to keep Ryu as a strong fundamentals character while giving him great tools for advanced players to use system mechanics to their advanced. Bully Ryu 🔥
I literally did the same thing when I started looking into playing morrigan when I realized she's Hella different than umvc3. But tbh the staircase concept is cool but it def deters people with looking like you need to be that dexterous with your string inputs
I guess this opens the door to Akuma mains being allowed to use the Shin moveset if the opponent wants a harder fight. Probably the fair way to do it, since it basically requires an agreement.
One thing about these polls, a lot of the time the top answer wins by default because a fair amount of players mash Confirm to just get to playing in the Battle Hub. I'm sure Aki is still fairly popular because she's a great character (I love her myself) but not many of the Hub polls have been won by an option that wasn't on top.
Something nobody noticed about the poll; the poll's inclusion of characters already IN SF6 indicates they ain't just testing the waters for future seasons of SF6; they're also testing the waters for SF picks in the base roster for a new Vs. Capcom game. Regardless, looks like AKI's a lock for the next Vs. Capcom.
Im genuinely so glad he's a zoner, partly because omni man is already the bully spaceman, but because being a lazy cheater is absolutely Homelanders character
He's lazy ASF but if you learn the finger gymnastics his rush down and pressure is crazy imo stay away and zone but if you get them in the corner and you know what to do it's pretty much ggs for the other player.
