@us24575 why would anyone in this situation want to get better if this is the response they face for voicing their desire to change? You're actively working against progress with this mindset, I hope you know that.
Chris is doing the work the average Politician in Trinidad won't even do by going into the communities and here the voices directly from the people, highlighting the issues as well. Kudos to you Chris!! Job well done! 👏👏
Fact. Politicians jobs are the easiest jobs in the world, and yet they still can't do it. All they have to do is listen, nobody asking for plenty, simple things like regular water supply and paved roads, but we could find 60m to upgrade the zoo lmao
To the soldier in the blue shirt wise words muh g💯wake up smiling regardless of what we going through and still try to do the right thing love that full respect
Fully respect for every human in trini blessings From Jamaica there is so much greatness in trini just wish all young man that has the power to make change do it for your country man
I am learning about my country through you. The reason for this is that my family migrated when I was 17. Thanks for providing this footage. I really appreciate the educational process. Blessings enjoy and be safe❤🎉
I feel like Chris is being a little too harsh on TJ. Calm down a little, he's trying same as you. He's a good one to have around loosen up a little bit Chris.
Big up yourself Chris, your one of my favorite youtuber's, and I appreciate the work that you're putting in. I can't thank you enough for showing me these different cultures, likewise your travel experiences, all from the comfort of my living room. Btw you're one brave man, hope to meet you one day. 🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂
I am glad my Trinibad 🇹🇹brothers and sisters at least beat 🍟🍔Jamaica 🇯🇲 is 1 thing KFC 😂, friendly siblings rivalry, we Jamaicans want all our trinibad family to know we love you and appreciate you guys, we have to stay united and visit each other’s countries more , build the bond 🙏💪🏿❤️
@@kennybrown5914 There's so many Jamaican videos you men could watch, u man always on some argument thing. There's nothing of interest here in Trinidad for you man to be watching just ignore us please. respectfully.
@@ricko2301 also why is the squatting problem in Grande not being addressed meanwhile law abiding citizens like me getting pressed for land and property tax. Squatters have well paved roads too LOL Trinidad is really not a real place.
Exactlyyy ❤❤❤❤❤❤ thank youuuuu!!! Too many ignorant people i've heard saying Grande is just some "village" or someway far in the bush, with uncivilised people... lol, I swear the ignorance towards the largest town of the east is disgraceful 😂😂😂 Grande is my home town all of 26 years. Progress is slow because of politics and politrix plaguing the Reg. Corporation for years now... yet we are but one ambitious and faithful investor(s) away from rivalling all major towns here in T&T. Grande has potential yo be so much more eh, hmm. People don't really have a REASON to come up here you see, unless to pass through to get to someplace else like Manzanilla Beach. If there was a Movie Towne here, if there was an east version of C3 or Trincity, all of the east would endorse it, i promise you this... I guess we just aren't special or "civilised" enough here in the bush for those kinds of investments and attention.
I think Preedy and Voice would be great soca artists to interview. Preedy is from Maloney and Voice is from San Juan. Soca is the national music of the country.
Me personally I think when they sing a type of a music and they are singing out they heart. The rivals is gonna take it like they are singing bout them ‘ wen is not even like that’ so they really take that seriously u know then that wat starts the war between them u know just an excuse to start shit’ u see TJ speaking facts. That is it …. Jose from Connecticut 💯
You really don't know the impact of what you've done here Chris. You've given a voice to people who have never had the chance to speak to their own national community. You've thrown a spotlight on the reality of life in Trinidad that even the government might not be able to continue ignoring. This may well the catalyst for something big. Don't forget the Diego Martin area particularly La Puerta.
I agree with TJ so much because we don’t have to think what they say in music they mean it all! A lot of artists has never touched a gun before but they sing about it! It’s a mindset that you want to put yourself into gun battles etc. youth let’s stay wise and just not let these things influence us!
Good morning Chris, I glad you took your time and do this. I was wondering if you could try and make those young men be united. They could sing and dance how much they want but I just don’t understand why the violence have to take place. With all of that being said is it possible that you try to make all the leaders come together and be united. That BEAUTIFUL Island called Trinidad was never like that.
Kid Volt, yuh real mi brother. Nuff respect! Keep the faith, yuh on the right path, the Messiah does give his choices blessings to those of us who strive to obey him. He go bless you and yours mi brother, listen the voice of experience. Nuff respect Kid Volt, and all the best.
14:50 jesse was my best friend when I was 10 before I moved to Canada so heartbroken to find out like this Jesse was most definitely a good person that stayed very far away from trouble I’m sure he’s in a better place now so sad to see his life cut short always counted on being able to visit and have a beer with him one day
The difference to me when I brought myself to sande grande foster road and stayed there for 6 months with my dad is that they seems to go more late than port of Spain because at 2 am you can get a taxi at foster not port of spain and my step brother came home often stabbed, chopped and broken bones from fighting gangs, parties over girls..😔✌🏻
I didn’t know that until now that Trinidad was the place that created the zinger sandwich that’s another Invention of Trinidad and Tobago along with the steel pan limbo calypso.
Trinidad & Tobago is full of great, loving and friendly people. Just like anywhere in the world, there's crime and every town/village has gangs, just that some gangs do white collar crime. Enjoy the multiculturalism and food, we have alot to offer, every area in T&T you visit, you will experience different things. No one place is better than the other, enjoy it all.
I realize that most of the youths in Trinidad don’t want to be in a gang. They are just adapting to their environment. It’s so sad that half of them won’t be around to see the development of their community.
That’s wats up Chris!! TJ is an incredible man he’s a funny man bro he’s really trying to get u the best content. but wat i don’t understand is why he doesn’t record I see him walking with he’s camera but no action on he’s part.. just keep ur head up Chris that is it’ brother. Jose from Connecticut 💯 🫡 it’s amazing how u get the same love like Belize. Don’t it remind you of that Chris.. awesome content
I'm SO tired of that idiotic argument about whether the music influences people, YES THE FUCK IT DOES. If the media you consume didn't have an effect on you, then school would not work. Education, learning, comes through repetition, when the song repeatedly tells you to to shoot people who offend you, you will shoot people who offend you, it's not rocket science. There is an idiotic argument that the music is a representation of the life, and not actually the influencer of said life, which is remarkably stupid, because hard times and poor disadvantaged people have always existed, but 20 years ago, crime was a tenth of what it is today, gunman music was also not a thing 20 years ago. As more violent music was created, more violent people were also created, which caused more crime, QED, the music caused the increase in crime. You've heard the term "opps", and you've repeatedly asked who are the enemies that they're protecting themselves against, and none have an answer for you, they're not lying, they really don't know. They do know that there are other dangerous people out there and someday might be their day, but they don't actually have any real enemies. It's a boogeyman created by the music, the idea of these ruthless killers that are out for domination and control, these dudes all overcompensate because they are afraid, and if it's one thing I've learned, it's the scared dog that bites you, they are genuinely dangerous. Why are they afraid? Because the music keeps saying "6 outside". Everyone is afraid of everyone else, but they can't admit it because they're also afraid that admitting their fear will be their downfall. And they're not wrong, so they know that they need to protect themselves, so now everyone has gigantic guns and itchy trigger fingers, because everyone's scared that some random person is just going to appear from the bushes and kill them, which was not the case until the music put the idea into their heads.
Wasup bro Chris! I want to tell you that I love the hat that you were wearing at the KFC, brown, tan with the reverse thread look...awesome! Thanks again for sharing!
An idle mind is the Devil's play ground once the youths portray a positive mind set, and believe in the most high as savior you'll have long life bless up Chris you doing some good work
Chris you have to go to Cora river on Saturday or Sunday and show the fun drink food party of the local people Trinidad is a land of fun please show some of that it's a beautiful place record the journey it's a beautiful drive through the northern mountain
