I grew up in Nashville and I love the City because of the kindness and hospitality from the roots. It's a boasting of the Thug life that has affected our entire nation and it's a defense mechanisms for the urban communities. Nashville I love you ❤
Cleveland Avenue is dangerous I was a maintenance guy there at the strip mall right next to the liquor store one night there a security guy there got shot in the back of the head for no reason and the shot a homeless guy there they caught the dude but I quit working down there because it's crazy there they killing for nothing there
I'm from Nashville, and I hate what 440 did to the Jefferson Street area, Bordeaux, North Nashville in general. They were the true home of Motown and had overcome much adversity, making a real name for themselves as a viable economic force. This was during the late parts of segregation and early parts of de-segregation. Of course the racist politicians at the time developed 440 at the heart of Bordeaux, thus cutting off much of this economic growth over time. Over the decades, it's become more decayed.
Give that energy to the canidian people. Their really need it. Have you ever went downtown. They need you in Canada, full stop. Or that will stop your flow??

It’s mad dumb, self defeating. The only people going to Graceland are older people. They trip when they see a young person in a hoodie. The people in Memphis could keep the violence in check and could make a good living just AirBnbing their shotgun shack to Beale St tourists. It’s the same with West Virginia, the people getting bed and breakfasts together with an emphasis on outdoor activities like rock climbing and white water rafting. The rich people from the DMV would drive the hour every weekend and make them rich. I live in Baltimore, we have Edgar Allen Poe’s home but there are projects called the Poe Homes right next to it, I think it contributes to a macabre motif so it works. Everyone know people come to Baltimore for the windshield cleaning anyway.
From Memphis, but been here 18 years since going to TSU. I respect the Hood. And met Duece twice. He is definitely about respect and his name. They take pride in they city just like Memphis take pride in ours. But again, its love from them. You move with respect here, you get respect from the most dangerous people. And thats why im still here. But i will say, its alot more to Nashville that keep people here. Its 3 Historically Black Colleges as well as multiple Predominately White Institutions...so its definitely a melting pot for fun and good careers.
