As far as live action remakes go, this one was alright. The characters were pretty accurate and they actually managed to keep some relevant points

3:49 I understand you can't replicate a manga character to reality with an 100% accuracy. But how could they fail to replicate a drawing this much?!

We should appreciate the way they make a live action is not even easy especially to make a real looks on anime😌..even u wanna choose the cosplay become an actor sometimes they are good at cosplaying and looks same but their skill have different more than who already become an actor😊👌

@@tobbakken2911 Quincies are not necessarily German. Remember that Lille Barrow was black for example and Cang Du asian. ( And there are many more examples ) Masaki and Ryuken were probably japanese

They really got Rukia right in the movie. The hair, the eyes and the clothes are identical to the animated design. My only complaint are her gloves (and her hands by extension) being smaller in the LA but that's a nitpick at that point

The Ost is good, Overall it is a good live action I would say. Not the best but it didn't disrespect the manga story and adapt it pretty well. There is not all of the elements which is good because it would be too much and the movie will felt rush imo. The actors may not look like the character but their acting is ok I guess. I think you should give it a try to get your opinion, it is worth it. But do not expect it to be better or like the original manga/anime 100% ;) hope it helps. Can't wait to heard from you if you decided to watch it !

There is no karakura town sadly, but it is inspired by Tokyo. So you can find some element there ;)

They tried but barely I mean even fan made content, cosplays, costumes look 100x accurate than what I saw in this video. But if you are going to make a loved anime into a live action at least look at the source materials. Like the kid was cute but the whole pun of Ichigo's character is that he has red hair or strawberry hair. and Ichigo in Japanese is Strawberry hence the first chapter being called Strawberry and Death. Like what the heck and casting a white man for a clearly colored one is kinda idk racist in a way.
