Except... Aizen was never actually 'defeated'. He won every single battle even the one against Ichigo where he was literally owned the entire fight just because Ichigo lost his powers in the process and Aizen had powers left. Aizen lost the war because of a move Kisuke did in a fight that Kisuke already lost at this point plus being super-owned by Ichigo's final attack made him vulnerable to that move.
The reason why Ichigo had to use the Final getsuga is because if they just kept fighting, even with Ichigo having the advantage of being a whole tier of existence above Aizen, then Aizen would just windows update his way up the scale and not only get himself on equal footing, but would also eventually evolve beyond that point again That's why Ichigo had to hit him with the strongest attack ever in one go, and even then Aizen survived it and would evolve again had Urahara not used that seal beforehand
After the Final Getsuga, didn't the hogyoku reject aizen for being "too weak" as I would think? I mean i think it would explain why his level 100 gear started disintergrating.
@@NuhUhPuhlyanah ichigo stated that aizen wanted to lose, the hogyoku is still in him meaning its under his control, but it filled jis deepest desire of being defeated
@@Trathien-Indeed it was also stated in the TYBW arc 1 when yhwach went to talk to Aizen to join him Aizen refused and yhwach left Aizen told him it's a wise decision to leave then yhwach said it will take a lot of time to kill Aizen because of his hogyoku
It's interesting that the Hogyoku guides people towards their goals, and as Aizen evolved he kept looking more like the Soul King. Until he turned into the crazy hollow form with the nuke. I don't know what that was about, lol.
As wild as Aizen's abilities were. His Zanpakuto, his intelligence, his raw strength. At the end of the day, he was never who he thought he was. His power was exceeded by a Ryoka Boy, and his intelligence was exceeded by Urahara Kisuke. He had the ambition, but he just didn't have what it would have taken to actually achieve his goals.
One of my favorite moments in any anime is Ultimate Gohan versus Super Buu, and, just like in that moment, I love when a broken, overpowered character takes it to someone who is sure of themselves that they’re the strongest and doesn’t have a thing to worry about. That humble pie be hitting 😂.
Nice reaction! Was really hoping you would have kind of watched and reacted the next episode after this, where Ichigo and Urahara talks about how Aizen truly feels. But since you are already at TYBW lol xD it's good! :D
now that i know that back then his soul reaper powers were limited/supressed i wonder if this mugetsu was only at power level where that quincy side wasnt able to surpress
Or just as likely, this was most of his powers being unsuppressed because Old man Zangetsu knew the final cost of Ichigo losing his powers was kind of his plan B all along. He would have every reason to not suppress any of Ichigos power that Ichigo could control in order to maximize the chances of Ichigo beating Aizen before he loses all his powers. Ywatch did say when he met Ichigo something the 2nd or 3rd time about how he got his powers from when he beat Aizen back/again.
Still interesting how Tatsuki, Ichigo's Childhood friend was able to understand how strong Aizen was when Even Captain Level Soul Reapers were unable to do so.
I don't know man, great reaction but theres not reason to hate aizen that much, ALL the things he did were actually good for the future of the soul society, the means were incorrect tho, maybe i'm just biased becouse he is my favorite character.
He's a villain, a bad guy. He's designed to be hated. Most of the best villains are hated. I can dislike him as a bad guy and still like him as a character in the story for what he brings as a villain. Both can be true
Im still to this day butthurt that Gin died after all the ridiculous injuries others have survived whyd they have to kill Gin even tho I love him I technically wouldn't call him a good guy he did many messed up things and it was all for Rangiku if anything she was probably the only thing he was loyal to but he did indirectly save Ichigos friends and everyone by stalling Aizen wish wed seen more of him in action though I loved his Zanpakuto and Bankai
"hollowfied" no aizen did not hollowfie himself he simply evolved again into a being above a shinigami and hollow that form is quite literally a "god" as the databook puts it
