"Battle is everything" super underrated, simplicity is key for characters like Kenpachi, the ultimate meathead in shounen, and this is his mentor basically presenting this mantra. It's meaningful in its absolute nature, like a law. I will not tolerate it being in the hack tier!
Im so glad I'm not the only one who says that. Old Man Zangetsu just feels too long to say at times and Hollow Ichigo has always just been a lame name to me. Considering the motifs of the characters those terms just fit better imo
1:29:11 that one feels like you've seen it on facebook because you probably did, it's actually a quote from Emilio Zapata “I would rather die standing than live on my knees”
Hi guys~🐺 I'm just another Bleach fan from the internet like you two. Saw your prev vid and subd immediately when Puff started singing the 1st ED ☀️ & started watching this 2nd immediately, but I got outside work right now, so I'll leave this comment as a reminder that I left at [ 39:23 ] to come back and finish it 🌕 Thank you for what you do 🌻 you are a great companion for these nights I stay up drawing my manga/comic called "CAPUCHA" ⛈️ Hope there's more content in general. Amazing Voice Acting btw~🌟
With MHA, have you noticed how the ending is basically Bleach if it ended after Aizen? Ironically it proves why that would have been a poor ending. It lied to the audience from chapter 1, and on top of that he never wanted to be a teacher at all. It ripped off Assassination Classroom's ending. It's funny because Deku didn't try becoming a hero for 8 years until the solution was handed to him, just like how he didn't try at the start of the series until he got One For All. The problem is that this shows he's fundamentally the same guy he was at the start of the series, and hardly grew at all. His entire origin is nothing but celebrity worship based off of one youtube video he saw as a toddler. Also he just feels very "wholesome chungus 100"ish, almost like if reddit made a main character. He lacks the grit and bite that similar characters like Tanjiro, Allen Walker, Edward Elric, Mumen Rider all have. He just feels too... cringey? I don't know how else to put it. I mean, his overall demeanour and vibe is just spineless. He has no self respect. The spinoff Vigilantes is the better manga, with the better MC. Plus in Vigilantes the existence of Knuckleduster proves he could've at least tried to be a hero.
> like if Reddit made a character I swear, Reddit and Redditor is one of those words that completely lost any sense of meaning. You could have just written "fanfic-y" > he has no self-respect or grit That's not a criticism, that is personal preference. There is nothing wrong i inherently with character, who is a wimp, but can pull through when situation needs it (also, Deku is a kid) People often felt same way about Tanjiro.
I kinda disagree with this, I kinda want to start bottom up, Deku is anything but spineless and we’ve seen multiple examples of him standing up for himself and others later on, the first episode literally showing him save kaachan from a villain he knew he had no chance of beating, and other examples such as his fights with muscular, shiggi, his vigilante arc, etc. Deku is not the same person he was at the start of the series at first his low confidence/self-esteem, his desire to be exactly like allmight, and his lack of understanding of what it really meant to be a hero, were things he overcome and understood as the series went on, learning to separate himself from Allmight, (which his parallels with Allmight are fantastic, showing that Allmight while he was the symbol of peace was actually a toxic hero as trying to take on the burden of everyone is what ultimately lead to his downfall, which is the opposite of Deku), his confidence grew and his ability to connect with people, and he learned what it meant to be a hero from Allmight, ochaco, and even stain. With him becoming a teacher and not trying to still be a Hero, we know that he most likely wouldn’t have been a vigilante as that’s illegal, maybeee he could’ve started his own agency but idk about that, and you could see him getting the Ironman suit at the end as a grand reward for his defeat of AFO, both times with the start and end him getting this power that he earned through his own efforts. As just like the start, he fought for what was right but this time he was a powerless kid trying to do what’s right, he was a hero trying to save everyone along with his friends. With Deku becoming a teacher, i think it makes sense to a degree, teachers are well respected in Japan,he’s really smart, and some of his favorite heroes were teachers, teaching the next generation of heroes and being there to cultivate them is I think as heroic as teachers don’t get enough credit for the fostering of the next generation. Overall I understand your points and at first glance I was like your kinda right and then when I thought about it there was a lot of context from the story missing that overall went into the ending if you think about it.
Also saying that Deku doesn’t have grit is a crazy sentence considering early on he would continue to fight with broken arms and all bloodied up unless he was stopped, his first fight with muscular and his fight with AFO as two biggest examples.
Your videos are pretty fun and gave me a new appreciation of Fairy Tail and Bleach. After MHA and JJK would you consider talking about less popular manga like Soul Eater, Katekyo Hitman Reborn or Nurarihyon no mago? I found those last two mid but I would like to hear your opinion.
I was anime only so i never knew Rangiku was actually blonde, i literally just checked some tybw scenes and she was blonde in there too, i just didn't notice it 😭. Mandela'd me so hard
I always thought I was the only one who was into this stuff, when I got into anime bleach was my first anime I used to go on the wiki and that's how I discovered these poems ...they really reflect the characters and volume I really loved them as pretentious as sometimes they can be seen as
Love your take on "no,nothing can change my world" I also infer this is due to him having "achieved" the "pinnacle" of his soul reaper ability and so his inner world has been stabilized
1:50:25 "the good thing is the fangirls saved him though" LMAO I REMEMBER WHEN I READ THAT CHAPTER I WAS LIKE SUPER MAD WITH KUBO 😭😭😭i think i was on the verge of ripping all my bleach comics 😭😭😭 i'm not even his fangirl but i didn't expect him to be dead in that way 😂
My hero Academia Opinion: Minoru Mineta exchange with All For One is one of the few good moments in final arc, as it is true to character and sells idea of struggle against absolute force better than anything before and after.
The on the page with the vol the pic abv is the person it's aim at. So if there the same it's a introspective if it's a different character it directed from one to the other
1:58:29 haha the zanpakuto of the world unite! They want equality, because zangetsu and old man zangetsu as well as katen kyoukutsu(butchered) Are the 1%
@evilpuff450 This has NOTHING to do with Bleach. But because your "did nothing wrong" tier list has comments off..so i had to jump on a newish stream. Because I was SO READY to comment on code geass when euphemia MASS MURDERED the crowd. That shit got me so angry and 3am in the morning. Just shouting bloody murder. 😂
