You did a great job. The final color matches your skin tone perfectly. I don't think a lighter color would have worked. As far as bleaching relaxed hair goes, people don't know you can do that safely as long as you wait at least 3 weeks post relaxer and use mild bleaches.
Okay I have a question my hair is red I didn't bleach it first to get it red but I did use a 30 volume developer and mixed it with the for dark hair only dye by lorrel I dyed it March 2nd it's been a month now I want to relax my hair do you think it's safe or do you think I should just wait until May to do it
+bria maynard I think you should ask a professional! I don't want to tell you yes or no and something happen to your hair. I'm not a professional, sorry love.
bria maynard You're doing it the opposite way which is a little different but still can be done. Do a protein treatment next week. Then relax the week after and you'll be fine. Make sure the relaxer is mild.
L'oreal Excellence is a good dye. The reason it didn't work is because you probably dyed it black previously. Didn't hear you say it. You have to lift out the black dye first and probably bleach first, then go in with the ash blond. If the hair is naturally black with no black dye on top, it would have lifted easier.
I'm so obssessed with this video, it just keeps making me realise it's possible to go for such a look. You looked pretty. I have to try this on myself. Thanks for sharing.
I loved the final result even though you had to go through hell and high water to get there! The blonde is beautiful on you and the makeup brought it all together seamlessly!
It's not that the color by L'Oreal did not work. When you lifted the color out with the One 'n' Only color remover you never went light enough for the L'Oreal to lighten. There are 10 levels of color from black, dark brown, light brown, red, red-orange, orange, dark blonde, medium blonde, light blonde and white.
Just bought the neutral Kaleidocolor today. After lightening, I have a Clairol semi-perm honey brown color to put in. I'm like you, little nervous. But you made this process easier for me to do. Your color, cut and jovial personality are encouraging. Thanks!
I have my hair already bleached but now I want to do a perm. I am very afraid to do it that since I have seen that you can bleach after you already have a perm I kind of feel pretty good about it. I am going to go for it, pray for me. LOL, I had read that I would need to condition my hair as well as a deep condition before I could perm it. Just wanted to share this information. When I do it I will surely let everyone know.
Did your hair fall out? Funny enough when i was relaxed and dyed by myself i had no breakage issues moment i went to hairdresser all fell off and she blamed me. Hair grew bk now doing it by myself
you did right going with the bleach in the end usually when you are going from a dark color to light you need to bleach it in order to strip the hair an lighten it up i went from dark to light had the same issues until i realized i shouldve bleached it first lol but the color looks good on you
the finished results are bomb 😻😻 I have relaxed my hair about 3 to 4 weeks ago but I'm not sure if I should bleach because I'm afraid my hair is going to fall out and I currently have a short cut your length
When we bleach our hair, it's going to be a orange brownish color because the black in our hair has to be lifted. what I do is wait until three weeks or four weeks later, to do the correct color. If you perm your hair first, please wait until 15 days later to bleach or color. But I advise not to put perm back in hair after you bleached it. But it's going to break and pop off terribly. Just straighten hair on low heat.
Wow! Love that hair color. Very complimentary. You have absolutely gorgeous eyes. I think a neutral lip would have looked better but maybe it's because I, myself, don't do bold colors on my lips. Overall, great job.
before i redye my hair i always relax it, wait 2 weeks then dye it...i know you're not supposed to relax your whole head but i do it anyway( only 2xs a year to dye it) the relaxer strips your hair and makes it easier and evens out when using a lighter dye color....it just looks better. anyway...love your color and cut, fits you 👍
Lifeiz Precious I have relaxed hair. I bleached my bangs super blonde then dyed it Emerald Green. I'm planning on bleaching my entire head and dying it but I do relax my hair every 6-7 months and I don't want my hair to fall out. I relaxed my bleached hair before and my hair stayed perfectly fine. Do you think I should still continue to relax my bleached hair?
Where did you go to cut your hair like that.. Im trying to cut my hair buy didn't know how to and when I saw yours I love it.. What's the name of this haircut?? Did you go the barber shop
love the septum...sad my guy doesn't feel the same way (sick for him)...the dark color looks great on you, the bright color is super cute too! I like the fact that the sides are lighter than the top! not sure if that was on purpose or not but it's a nice look! keep up the vids
I was trying to go natural, but I started with heat damaged hair. Very bad heat damaged hair. Straightened my hair is about down to my collar bone. To be honest, I'm really getting irritated with my hair. It's not even, It's prone to breakage, my edges are thin but growing, and honestly I just want to start all over. I've never relaxed my hair ever and I'm 14. I want to get a relaxed pixie cut and grow my hair down to a bob, then gradually trim my hair until all the relaxed hair is gone. Is this okay? I'm done trying to work with my hair, it is way to curly and I really wish it were looser. Please give any input.
There is no use in relaxing your hair if in the end you want to trim all the relaxed hair in the end. If you want your curls to be a bit more looser, try a texturizer, it will take a little bit of the texture you have instead of making your hair straight. Taking care of the hair takes a lot of effort and determination because coarse hair is very fragile so you have to dig in that moisture life and knowing what your hair wants because even if a product works from someone, it might not work with you and some people have pretty demanding strands *just like me* If in the end you still want to relax and you think it might make your life easier, go ahead but you will still have to make a lot of effort. Good luck :)
+Ida Reis a texturizer and a relaxer are the same thing. If you compare the ingredients of two, you'll find that they are exactly the same. She would be better off staying away from processing her hair altogether and just trimming the end off either gradually or all at once .
Loved this video. I'm about to dye for the first time and I'm scared! What's crazy is I just have a muff, all the rest is shaved off and I'm still scared! But you're giving me balls, dahling. lol You look great.
About 15 to 20 days. But I advise after you bleach, later on don't perm your hair for a retouch, just straighten your hair instead of perming it, because it's going to break off and damage your hair. You can't put perm on top of bleach hair later. I know some people are different but I'm just saying from experience, please don't perm after you bleach your hair.
YASSS!! U did that! I want todo the same thing I'm so scared you can wear any color it would look good. I can wear any style but color? Idk but that look is you!
next time to avoid having to bleach n relax which is a no no in thu cos world try the dark and lovely go intense it works wonders i use that when im going blonde
I love you because I got the EXACT same results! You are too funny!!! I am laughing because I felt just like Grrrr...it's like wtf?! How many sessions do I have to do to go blonde?! Ahhh! 😵😁😊 Lol
Question? I have a pixie cut as well but i wanna know how can i keep my sides from looking dry they look all nice once i get it down but after a few days the ends of my sides look all dry and a hot mess any ideas ? Thanks -Nicole
+Nicole Banks are you trying to keep it short? Maybe it's time for a haircut. Or you can just mold your sides with wrap lotion and they will lay down. When you mold it, use some type of oil with the wrap lotion. Hope this helps!
+Style Me B yeah I wanna keep it short . I'm going to get it done next week it's a pain that it grows so quick . Would coconut oil work or is that to heavy ?
GIRL! you should have KNOWN better NOT to use box dyes! they are trash & are horrible for your hair!!!! And that color remover isn't no better, the color remover did its job but that will not lift artificial color, artificial color does not lift artificial color either, only way you can lift hair color is with bleach.
Hi there, I love tis video, and I'm doing your hair style this week end.. It is just TOO Cute....Keep doing the videos. Be blessed and keep looking up at GOD.
