Heck, it was never even balanced towards your average player, since the vast majority of players never reach Calla, never do Cruci/SR, and never complete endgame builds. @@moxusgaming6404 you maybe right. game even not balanced for normal play. Too complex and time consuming also boring. Impossible to kill superbosses without certain items and builds. If I want acquire that items, it is require thousands and thousands hours maybe still not enough. Game made for play with grim calculator
@@caniraso Exactly! I've played with hundreds of people over the years. Most players abandon Grim Dawn for the same reasons you've mentioned. Because devs only look at the fringe builder group, and those people mostly just theorycraft using GDStash and then test high SR/Cruci/Celestials. They don't level from zero solo self found all the way up on a regular basis. You can't imagine how many times I got the "How do I level a SpellScourge BM, or Shar'Zul Commando or Korba Trickster" and similar questions from people. And when they hear "well, you better level using x and y skill, then farm a and b locations, get 1,2,3 items. Then respec into your pre-final build, then run BoC and SoT 200 times to get the wep or rings, then you are kinda there", - they say "are you nuts????" and just move on play something else. Sad but true...
