Blooming since late April. Instead of waiting for everything to die back, cutting back now to avoid the ugly look and to improve air & light for the surrounding plants. There are new additions to the area like the Brunnera a year ago and the Hosta this Spring. Easy enough task.
Usually place planter to fill the void.

Ah! So it’s really heat sensitive then? I planted some roots and they came up to my surprise. I’ve never grown this before. Thank you❤

Yes they are fairly easy to grow. The only challenge is to keep them standing upright in heavy rain. That’s why I have the small fence ! 🙏🏻

@@mypreciousgarden Yes. I water the plants nearby so they get water as well! Had there been no plants around, I would water just enough to keep it alive.
