I actually like that lay out when she does the monochromatic layout I tend to only work with the rows she created it’s hard for me to think outside the box with it laid out like that maybe it’s just me

Love this video. I will skip this but I think the palette is fun and creative and unique. People being upset with the layout is a perfect example of you can’t please everyone because people complain about being bored with the signature BB gradient

Thank you for keeping it real Ash. Sooo refreshing. I'm a medium and some pastels and light shades definitely ash on me too. I like that it does have deeper shades though

Its tricky tricky tricky tricky"----Run DMC is what i was thinkn! 😂 when you mentioned the pastels being tricky to work with. Love the beautiful blue look! Im so glad she added the deep shades in this along with the pastels. I passed on this because i dont really use pastels at all unless for an inner corner highlight or blending a shade out. I just bought the Surge and its gogeous! I also have the Sugar and Grunge and love that one too and both have pastel shades so i think im gna pass. But I cant wait for their next launch! I love the BB formula! These pastels didn not look ashy at all. I did see that u had to work a little more with the very pale shades. Overall, I think they all looked stunning! ❤❤❤❤

Thank you, so much! Let's just say if there weren't any deep shades then this wouldn't be happening at all for me. Those shades saved the day for sure. I'm generally not a pastel person either. Because, it's too much effort so why be bothered.

Hi Dr :) I love the looks! It's always so tricky the pastels on deeper skin tone. I am deeper than you and I know the lighter shades in the previous palette give me some work to do...so I'll probably skip this edition. I'll find another way to support the brand. I prefer when it's laid out by tones so at first I was kind of bummed, BUT I get where she's coming from. If she did the same thing every time, people would eventual complain she's too repetitive. People as a whole are never happy, what works for some won't work for others and what works for others won't work for some. As long as she continues providing us with the great formula and color stories, and stays true to herself and her brand, I'll buy whatever she puts out. Just my opinion on the layout. 😂😅

I get all the reasons of why she jumbled the color story and I agree. I’m only slightly disappointed because I wish she wouldn’t have done it on this palette. I use pastels to blend out shades without losing too much of the base color or playing around in a white. If I use them exclusively, most of the time it’s monochromatic so would’ve preferred the gradient. The second reason is although on par with the sprinkle theme, it’s a little too jumbled. Personally, I wouldn’t wear the quads or six pans this breaks down too. All that to say I will buy it but it won’t be quickly.
