They dont need to, even after 7 years. While Unreal anim graph becomes such a great tool, blend tree still works like in beta. No useable asset, no copy and paste.
how do you get the little red dot to show up in the blend tree inspector so I can test the blend tree? I'm using unity 2022.3.14f1 and it doesn't show up. It did one time, but that must have been a fluke, it doesn't normally show up at all so I can't really test how the blend tree will work
Programming animations is still very difficult. Please do something more intuitive. The tutorial is incomplete. For a beginner to have or not to have this video does not change anything. It is difficult to get off the ground.

Giovanni Giordano what? I'm a professional programmer working in a studio 9 to 5. I speak out of experience, and have worked with both engines for a long time. I'm just bored of moving stupid rectangles around and saying "look mom! Now I can code!"... Cuz clearly that isn't coding
